    Stable One UI Watch 4.5 Version Released for Galaxy Watch 4 Series

    After so much beta testing firmware for One UI Watch 4.5, Samsung has today officially released a stable version of it. The stable One UI Watch 4.5 based on Wear OS 3.5 is now available to install on Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic. The version is coming pre-installed on the new Galaxy Watch 5, and now the older model is receiving it. The latest firmware version R8**XXU1GVH2 has been distributed to the South Korean & the US users where the beta program was running.

    It is currently rolling out for the users who participated in the beta testing program, and the non-beta users will also get it. Now talking about the features, it has added many features since the first beta of the One UI Watch 4.5 version.

    In the latest software, Samsung has slightly improved screen UI and also added more complications to watch faces. You can also switch SIM cards right from the smartwatch. You can switch SIM 1 to SIM 2 or vice versa to make calls.

    Stable One UI Watch 4.5 Update

    The pre-installed Samsung Keyboard has now QWERTY keypad support for easy input. It also supports handwriting and voice input to compete with Google Assistant. The notification center has also been enhanced to show more details when getting incoming messages.

    There are also plenty of features implemented from Wear OS 3.5 in the new version. With this, Samsung has become the first company to release new Wear OS update for its Galaxy Watch 4 & Galaxy Watch 5 series users. To download the update, go to the Galaxy Wearable app, and check for pending firmware.

    The next Galaxy Watch 5 & Watch 5 Pro will run on the One UI Watch 4.5 version, and we don’t doubt it. Currently, Samsung held One UI 4.5 beta update based on Wear OS 3.5 for Galaxy Watch 4 series. It has recently sent a second installment of the beta firmware with many bug fixes. Now, the leaker has revealed what the final version will look like and what it will offer. The tipster @EvLeaks has shared the images on its Twitter page.

    The images prove with the new software, Samsung has made its watches more advanced. It has cared about every detail and offered new features. The watch faces will show more options on the first screen. It will show weather, activities, heart rate, and compass details.

    It is now possible to switch SIMs from the smartwatch. The LTE variant users will really find it useful to switch between SIM 1 & SIM 2. A QWERTY keyboard from Samsung has finally arrived on Galaxy Watch. Till now, users were rely on Google GBoard & other third-party keyboard apps.

    In the keyboard section, it has become easy to give input with handwriting and dictation. In other improvements, Samsung has given its best to audio enhancement and color correction features. There are also some other minor changes we will see in the next update.

    Some of the images shared by leaker are in longer screenshots. It could mean that Samsung may also allow longer screenshots on the watch like on Galaxy Watch 3. The final version of One UI 4.5 version will release with Galaxy Watch 5 series.

    Galaxy Watch 4 Receives Second Beta Update, fixes many bugs

    Earlier this month, Samsung opened a Beta testing program for Galaxy Watch 4 for Wear OS 3.5-based One UI Watch software. With the firmware, the company seeded plenty of new features and also upgraded its major apps like Samsung Health. Now, Samsung is releasing a second beta update for the smartwatches with major fixes. In the major rollout, it has fixed issues with running performance and improved GPS stability.

    Some users after the previous beta installation were facing power consumption issues and this has been taken care of in the new version. We have to wait to see how much battery performance has improved on both regular and classic variants. There are a couple of fixes coming for the watches and you can see them in the below changelog.

    – Bugs that have been fixed

    – Enhancement of GPS stability

    – Improving app running performance

    – Stabilizing health functions, and improving running and swimming performance

    – Fixed issues that are slow or terminated in the Health app

    – Stabilizing power consumption-Fixed that My Photo +, My Style background photo, and AR emoji character are not restored when the data is restored

    – Fixed that the call receiving screen is not displayed when Watch music is playing during Watch and Buzz connection

    – Fixed the issue that the reminder alarm remains after a snooze

    – Fixed issue that is cut off on the weather screen when the font size is enlarged

    – Other improvements are applied

    The latest second beta software is released in the US & South Korea, as these are the only supported countries. The new firmware version R860XXU1ZVF5 has been applied to the watches. To install a new version, first, you have to update the Galaxy4 Manager app to the newest 2.2.11.22062011 app version.
