    T-Mobile Releases Android Pie for Samsung Galaxy J7

    As the company promised Android Pie 9 version has almost reached every Samsung smartphone. Still, there are some users eagerly waiting for new software. T-Mobile’s Samsung Galaxy J7 2018 smartphone, which is known as Galaxy J7 Star is now getting Android Pie update. The new firmware version is J737TUVU5BSG2 and 1108MB in size. Along with the latest update, Google’s July security patch will be dispatched. T-Mobile is always late to ship the latest updates on its devices so the device may get August update in the next installment.

    The Android Pie version brings lots of goodies with One UI interface to this 2018’s model. It is a mid-range smartphone so it will not get all the features that installed on premium smartphones, but it will surely get all the Android Pie’s features that suppose to change the behavior of J7 Star. In the J7 series, most of the smartphones have received it. Even the Galaxy J3 is running on the Pie version in most countries. The other Galaxy J7 members, Galaxy J7 Duo, J7 Pro, J7 Prime, J7 Nxt and J7 Prime 2 are successfully using it.

    If you are using Galaxy J7 Star on T-Mobile then check the notification for the latest software. The software has released via OTA so it will take some time to reach everyone. To check it manually, go to Settings and open the Software Update to install it. The file is 1.1GB so you can use a Wi-Fi connection to avoid any interruptions.

    The unlocked Galaxy S10 models in the US are now getting August security patch on all carriers, except T-Mobile. The T-Mobile users in the US are now receiving a Night Mode update for their unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & Galaxy S10e. The telecom operator is the last one that brings these features to Galaxy S10, S10+ & S10e smartphones. In June, AT&T was the first operator to release night mode update for US smartphones and later seeded to Galaxy Note 9 & Galaxy S9 & S9+. The latest firmware G97*U1UEU2ASGB has released for Galaxy S10 series. The firmware ends with ASGB is for night mode update & all the three Galaxy S10 models are now receiving it.

    The update carry July security patch, even when most of the other smartphones have received August security patch. The most crucial change in the changelog is dedicated night mode & QR scanner features have been added to the devices. In the last few months, it is one of the essential software updates for the customers. It is the reason every customer wants night mode function on their smartphones so they can increase the capabilities of the camera in night shooting.

    To check for the latest update, go to Settings and then open a Software update to install it manually. The August security update is now rolling out for unlocked Samsung Galaxy s10 series devices in the US. If you are on another carrier then you may have received notification for the latest version. The T-Mobile users may get the August patch in the next phase.

    After nearly 3 months of waiting T-Mobile has finally rolled out Night Mode update for its users in the US. The first smartphone to get the latest update is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and we can say the other devices will get the update in a short period of time. The newest firmware N960USQU2CSGA is rolling out with Google’s July security patch and it counts 882MB in size. Everyone was hoping the Galaxy S10 series will be the first smartphones that will get a dedicated Night Mode update, but since T-Mobile has already dispatched the July update on all three S10 models so they will get in the next software version.

    The first notable feature into the update is dedicated Night Mode to the main camera, the function will provide more details to the night photography and will bring this last year’s model closer to the current models. The other QR Code scanner feature was added for multiple usages and Wi-Fi sharing is one of them. You can also get this feature from the Notification panel as it has added a shortcut.

    Galaxy Note 9 Update

    In the US, AT&T & Verizon have released this update on their Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9 & S9+ smartphones, and Sprint has released it for Galaxy S10 models. The international Samsung premium & some mid-range smartphones are already on the latest updates and some of them are having August security patch. If you are Galaxy Note 9 owner on T-Mobile then head to the Settings and check for the latest update. The update is rolling out via OTA & quite big so use your Wi-Fi connection to download it.
