    Galaxy A51 Update Gets Missing One UI 2.1 Camera Features

    At the beginning of May, when Samsung seeded major Android 10-based One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy A51, the company left-out some camera functions from it. There were a couple of camera features that supposed to come to the smartphone, but Samsung decided not to release them. Those excluded features are Single Take, AR Zone, Live Caption mode, My Filters, Pro Mode & Night Hyperlapse. Now, with the latest firmware version, the Galaxy A51 smartphone is receiving those missing One UI 2.1 functions.

    As per the changelog, three main camera features Single take, My filters and Night hyperlapse is launching on a smartphone. In the first Single take mode, when you tap the shutter button, then it allows you to capture video & photos for 10 seconds. The Night hyperlapse brings the ability to shoot crisp & clear low light hyperlapse videos. The last My filter is useful to customize & create your favorite images with different styles & colors for future shots. Apart from that, the new version brought overall stability to the existing features and squashed the minor bugs.

    New Galaxy A51 Update

    The new firmware A515FXXU3BTF4 is rolling out in Malaysia, so we haven’t got a chance to see the other changes on the Galaxy A51. After the update of your smartphone, you can share if there is a new function or other changes in this version. In this 336MB file, the update also bringing Google’s latest Android security patch for June. These newly added features will bring Galaxy A51 closer to Galaxy S9, Note 9 & Galaxy Fold as they have received almost all the One UI 2.1 functions. The firmware may soon release in other countries, you can check it manually from the Settings -> Software update menu.

    Samsung is now distributing One UI 2.1 version for Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The firmware version N960FXXU5ETF5 is now releasing with the June security patch. It is currently rolling out in Germany, and soon it will hit in South Korea and other regions. As per the previous schedule, the One UI 2.1 version supposed to release next week for both Galaxy S9 & Note 9, so it is a surprise treat from the company. As some customers had a chance to use the new version, it has found out not all the Galaxy S20 features come to Note 9.

    The inherited functions from the One UI 2.1 for the old flagship phone are Quick share & Music share. Both features allow you to share files & Bluetooth audio connection with other devices, respectively. The Pro Mode in video recording has made a come back to Note 9. It was previously the part of Galaxy S9 & Note 9; then later, the company removed it for some reason. This year, with Galaxy S20, the feature has returned and now came back to Galaxy Note 9. The Pro Mode & Bixby Routines for video recording will not be the part of the Galaxy S9 series.

    In the camera department, Single Take features have introduced to take a series of pictures and videos when you tap the shutter button. The new version also lets you control shutter speed. You can also create custom filers, along with AR Doodle & AR Emoji features. The 1.2 GB One UI 2.1 firmware is available in Germany, and soon it will release in other countries without any delay.

    In the new firmware update, Samsung has updated last year’s premium smartphone series Galaxy S10 to the One UI 2.1. The new firmware version brings all the exclusive features of Galaxy S20 to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & galaxy S10e smartphones. Last wee, the moderator at Samsung Korea had already hinted about the new version, but he mentioned releasing it in the next month. Now it is good that the company brought it before the schedule. The firmware version G97*FXXU4CTC9 is now available in Germany, which counts 1556MB download.

    It is the first major version for the Galaxy S10 lineup in the new year. It brings a new version of AR emoji to make rich conversation. There are now various menus, modes & filters to the camera like a single take, AR Zone, professional video, own filters, selfie sound & time lapse for the night mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps. Quick crop setting in Gallery, as well as Samsung Keyboard with multilingual translation, stickers & undo/redo function, has also added.

    The Quick share will allow you to share files with other Samsung devices in a secure mode. To share the music with your friends, you can now use the Music share function. Galaxy S10 lineup is also the first to receive Android’s latest 1st April 2020 security patch. The One UI 2.1 update is now rolling out in Germany & soon it will hit all remaining major regions. Galaxy Note 10, Note 9 & Galaxy S9 devices will also get this firmware version in the next few days or weeks.

    Samsung Would Release One UI 2.1 Early Next Month

    Earlier this month, We found the first sign of Samsung’s upcoming One UI 2.1 for Galaxy S & Note series. Now we have confirmed the news when it hits in the market for flagship smartphones. According to the Galaxy S moderator at Samsung Community, the company will deliver One UI 2.1 version early next month. As on the posted article, the moderator says, the update will release within three weeks that we can say it would happen in the first week of April.

    One UI 2.1 will release for Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series devices. The first device to get the upcoming update is the Galaxy S10 series, as it has clearly mentioned in the post. Later, Galaxy Note 10 series will get it, and then it comes to previous flagship smartphones. South Korea will be the first country to receive it and later the US and other major countries. The One UI 2.1 includes screen zoom, apply dark mode to wallpapers, music share, AR zone, night hyper lapse mode, single take and Samsung Quick Share options with some other implements.

    At current, only Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra & Galaxy Z Flip devices are running on One UI 2.1 version with Android 10. It is not the only news that we received today. In the second half of this year, these devices will get One UI 2.5 version. The first feature on the 2.5 release is Google Gesture, and the more functions may reveal in the coming weeks.
