Gear S3 & Gear Sport Users In Europe Now Receiving Tizen 4.0 Update
Latest Tizen 4.0 update is now rolling out in Europe for Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, Gear S3 Classic & Gear Sport smartwatches. The update has already rolled out in US for both smartwatches. The latest firmware is R760XXU2DSA1/R760OXA2DSA1 and it is 299MB in size. The new version has been added with Samsung’s value pack update and brings devices to the Tizen 4.0.0.2 version. Our readers are now getting it in UK, Germany, Netherlands, Bulgaria, Italy, France & in different parts of Europe. This update makes these smartwatches equipped with the features of premium Galaxy Watch as well as make them innovative feature supported.
Some notable features into the latest update are below:
1. Samsung Health – Support various indoor workouts and back-to-back workouts.
2. Samsung Health Widget – Samsung Health Widget now also supports and provides sleep stages information.
3. Advanced – Two advanced modes (Thatre Sleep) are added to keep user from disturbance during specific time & place. Modes can be toggled from quick panel.
4. Quick Panel – Newly added quick settings. Easier & faster interaction.
5. Messages – Draft Messages can now be saved. Additionally, showing MMS image on notification cover view and animated images are automatically played. Replying is now quicker and easier. Over 1000 emojis supported.
6. Music – User can change to different music play source on Watch instead of using a phone.
7. Setting menu – improved categorizing of menus for better discovery of features and items.
These are some notable features added into the new update. The update is now available in European countries though we not sure in how many countries it is rolling out at the present moment. To get the update on your Samsung Gear S3 or Gear Sport go to Samsung Wearable app on your smartphone and select About Watch option. And tap Update Watch Software, now hit on Update Now button. Samsung Gear S3 Received Massive Tizen 4.0 Update
Samsung has introduced the latest software update to Gear S3 in order to keep the smartwatch in competition. This update brings the latest and most awaited Tizen 4.0 Operating System to the Samsung Gear S3. With the latest update users will get the host of new features and improvements in functionality of the smartwatch. The Tizen 4.0 was originally launched with Samsung Galaxy Watch back in August and it has released on third generation Gear S3 watch.
Recent update carries the firmware version of R760XXU2DSA1 and accommodates Tizen 4.0.0.2 with it. The update to Gear S3 brings many latest features to the users at their wrist. Samsung Health will perform more widely as compared to the previous version and has more workouts in the list. It also includes the improvements in sleep monitoring functions of the smartwatch.
Settings menu of the watch has changes such as the introduction of two advanced modes namely theater and sleep. Quick panel has been introduced with the more user friendly interface for faster interaction. Changes in the notification panel includes that it shows incoming MMS images as well as it automatically plays GIFs. Samsung Gear S3 Classic & Frontier Received New Update
Samsung Gear S3 Classic & Frontier watches have received another new update from company. It is small update & have only 2 main added features. This is not a regular firmware update, which comes with bug fixes & software improvements. Instead, Samsung rolled out two new important features in the smartwatches. The first major feature is now customers can answer calls by rotating the bezels. It is new feature and I think it is most important for many customers.
Actually, this feature is not new for many users. They have been using it on their smartwatches. I am not sure whether there is hidden setting in smartwatch that I have missed or any third party app has this feature. If you never used it then you can use it now in the new update.
To get the new feature users don’t have to do anything in the setting. After the upgrade to new firmware version, the smartwatch will automatically set this function on your watch. The other change in the update is, Visual Accessibility Feature Improvement. This just improvements to the existing feature. Gear S3 And Gear S2 Gets New Value Pack Update
In the latest move Samsung has rolled out Value Pack update to their both smartwatches. The new update brings lots of useful changes to Samsung Gear S3 and Gear S2 watches. Last week Gear S2 has received its most important update and just before that the needy changes comes to Gear S3 Frontier and Gear S3 Classic LTE models. It shows Samsung cares more about their watches than any other companies, at least into the smartwatch war. The latest Value Pack update package mainly focuses on health and fitness apps and other related functions.
The new features have been added into the Health UI function which got some workout features. Now users will see all the workout results in the window with the visual information, like charts and graphs for the easy understanding. It shows amount of time spent in certain heart rate zones. The new feature will guide you when and how to stretch your body.
The other Reminder App has been updated with S Voice to let users set reminders with specific dates. Samsung Health will now automatically record approximate location with the duration. There are more viewing modes are available to use like Dark Screen, Negative colors and Grey Scale. The Altimeter/Barometer has got new menu and automatic calibration setting.
In the current update Samsung has added Find My Gear option to let you secure your smartwatch from the remote location. It is now easy to send contact information remotely to the Gear S3 screen. The new Value Pack update has been rolling out in many countries. If you haven’t received it in your country then wait for some more days or weeks. It will take some time to roll out in all the countries.

Samsung Rolled Out New Update For Gear S3 Frontier
Samsung Gear S3, the third generation Samsung smartwatch today gets one new update. The new tiny update specifically focused on overall improvements and some bug fixes. Samsung regularly releases new updates for its Tizen smartwatches and this is the part of it, which improves overall quality of the watch. The new update is only available for Samsung Gear S3 Frontier with model number SM-R765 and not for the other model watch. We all know that Gear S3 Frontier is the LTE model.
In this new firmware one new feature has added onto the watch, unknown for all of us. The new feature is ‘Jansky Wearable‘, only added feature in this firmware update. Still there is no word about this function – whether it is new kind of Watch Face or any other function in setting. But we are trying hard to find out what is it and how it is helpful for end users.
