One UI 4 Beta Program Starts for Galaxy S10 Series
We had reported in the last month that Samsung is planning to conduct a beta program for its older flagship models. After the beta testing program starts for Galaxy Note 10 devices, the company is now recruiting it for the Galaxy S10 series. The Beta Operation Manager has officially posted a banner to recruit new users to taste the beta version before anyone else. The users in South Korea can now participate in the program, and anytime soon, it will open in other countries.
The program is open for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e & the Galaxy S10 5G smartphones in the country. Samsung has promised to bring a stable Android 12 update for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in January next year. There is lots of time for Galaxy S10 to run on the beta version and taste the features. Samsung has released a stable version for Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S20 & Note 20 will get in this month as their testing program has ended.
The interested users can open the Samsung Members app to participate in the program. The recruitment for Note 10 in the first slot filled up in a few hours. It is the third time for these devices to join the beta testing program since One UI 2 Beta, and now they are receiving One UI 4 Beta version. Thanks to Samsung and its recent update policies, it is the first time any devices are getting that long support.

Confirmed: One UI 4 Beta Program will Open for Galaxy S10 & Note 10
This week, we had discovered Beta testing firmware for the Galaxy S10 & Note 10 series devices. Now, we can confirm that both devices will participate in the beta testing program for One UI 4 version. The Beta Operation Manager at South Korea has officially confirmed it to the Galaxy S10 users. Also, the other moderator had already confirmed it for Galaxy Note 10 series. As per the previous answer, the beta testing program for these devices will start from December.
As per the official Android 12 schedule, both devices will get stable One UI 4 update in January 2022. The beta program for the users will start in all the selected countries, and the official banner will be posted on Samsung Members app. We will inform you when Samsung open the beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 devices.
Both the devices were also part of One UI 3 beta testing program and received Android 11 update. Samsung has already mentioned these devices will get major updates for three years and this year might be last for them. It is good that Samsung has considered about these old flagship models.

Galaxy S10 & Note 10 may Join One UI 4 Beta in December
Last week, we have spotted Galaxy Note 10 with One UI 4 beta build firmware in the home country. The Galaxy S10 users are also eagerly waiting for an official answer about the beta testing program for these flagship models. Now, as per the Galaxy S community manager, Samsung may conduct a beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in December. He further said, it is not confirmed yet, and the company still deciding to whether open One UI 4 beta for these devices.
Meanwhile, our discovery has found out both devices running on the Android 12 version. That means, soon both devices will run on beta version or stable version. The stable release date for both devices is in January 2022 in almost all major countries. Further, we have spotted Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10+ 5G variants in the Geekbench score, which shows these devices are running on the Android 12 version.
The Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 5G received a 794 single-core score & a 2028 multi-core score in Geekbench 5 score. Finally, as we said Samsung is discussing the beta opening matter with the internal beta operation team. The beta testing time this year is short, so the company may move to a stable version instead of a beta version. The stable version is currently available for Galaxy S21, and the beta program is live for Galaxy S20, Note 20 & Galaxy Z series devices.

Galaxy S10 & Note 10 Boosted with One UI 3.1 Version
After finishing the latest flagship models of 2021 & 2020, Samsung has now turned One UI 3.1 update for 2019’s flagship models. The good news coming from Germany where Galaxy S10 & Note 10 family members are receiving One UI 3.1 update. With this version, users can use plenty of new features on their devices and witness some boost in the overall quality. Along with the update, both devices have upgraded to the March security patch, even before we enter into the next month.
It comes with a private share feature that takes care of your privacy with its encrypted technology. The Eye Comfort Sheild which is formally known as a blue light filter will look for your eyes. The auto switch feature for Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds Live & Galaxy Buds+ will let you switch seamlessly between any Galaxy devices. The reminder app & Calander app has also been modified for better usage. It got a minor change in the user interface over the last Android 11-based One UI 3.0 software.
As changelog mentioned, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 have improved in the camera department. As per the Samsung rep, the missing camera functions and the other features will come to the devices in March. Galaxy S10 & Note 10 will Get One UI 3.1 Update in March
Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series in the major countries are now jumping to the Android 11 version. It is the first major update for both flagship smartphones in the current year. Well, not for long, cause Samsung is preparing the next big update, One UI 3.1 for these devices. The official Samsung support team in South Korea has confirmed that the Galaxy S10 series & Galaxy Note 10 series will receive the One UI 3.1 version in February. According to the statement, the first region to get the latest firmware update will be Europe.
It’s not all, Samsung rep has also mentioned the devices will get the moon animation function in camera night mode. In the answer to the query of the Galaxy Note 10 user, he/she confirmed the moon animation for camera night mode will be added in the next major firmware. It is the moon-shaped night mode indicator in the camera app. The One UI 3.1 update based on the Android 11 version has amazing features like changing the screen, minimize unnecessary apps, faster app opening, management function for attending meetings, better privacy, and more.
As per the official answer, the distribution of the next One UI 3.1 version will start after 6 weeks from the launching of Galaxy S21. With the update, users can use Android 11-based One UI 3.0 features. You can use the beta version and send the experience to the official team.
The Galaxy S10 series is the last to receive the One UI 3.0 Beta version. Next Beta Updates for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 Postponed to Next Week
At the end of last month, Samsung had opened the One UI 3.0 beta version for Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Though Samsung has released the first beta version for previous flagship devices, since then, they haven’t received any other update. Now, the official Beta Operation manager in South Korea mentions, the second beta for Galaxy S10 has been delayed, and the team will try to release it next week. Today, in the answer to the question, the beta manager has answered users.
It is not the only lineup that has been postponed. The third beta update for Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ also has been postponed to the next week. Luckily, Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in South Korea have received a second update this week, so the overseas users will get it soon. The main reason for the firmware delay is some issues in the Samsung Pass, and the official team is working on it. Galaxy Z Flip Gets One UI 3.0 Beta, Galaxy S10, Z Fold 2 will Get this Week
Samsung has finally started to roll out Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta version for the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone. It became the first foldable phone to receive the latest beta firmware, and that is for both 5G & LTE variants. Users can expect all the features of new Android 11 version in the latest software, along with Samsung’s One UI 3.0 flavour. The update is now open in South Korea and soon we can expect it in the other countries.
To participate in the beta program you can refer Samsung Members app. In the app, you will see official announcement banner, signup and install it on your Z Flip 5G/LTE.
Two weeks ago, Samsung had stopped rolling out beta firmware for the older flagships, along with the Z Flip & Z Fold 2 devices. The major issues were found in the code that causes faster battery consumption, app crashes and S Pen issues. Galaxy S10 & Note 10 could Get One UI 3.0 Beta Early Next Week
The Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Z Flip & Z Fold 2 devices could receive Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update early next week. It is confirmed by the Beta Operation Manager at South Korean Samsung community platform. The Galaxy S20 & Note 20 series devices are enjoying beta updates since few weeks, where these remaining devices are still waiting for it. The Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy Z Flip had received One UI 3.0 beta version, but that didn’t go well.
The new beta version for previous flagship phones had postponed due to the serious issues like faster battery drain, app crashes and problems with S Pen. After noticing these big issues, Samsung pulled it back and requested users to not install it. Galaxy S10, Z Flip & Fold 2 One UI 3.0 Beta Update Postponed
After the Galaxy S20 & Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung had rolled out Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta version for the Galaxy Note 10 lineup. This week, it supposed to release on other flagship smartphones, but it didn’t happen. As per the Beta Operation Manager at South Korean Samsung Community, there were some serious issues in the One UI 3.0 Beta version of the Galaxy Note 10. It is the reason, the company has postponed beta updates for Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold 2, and their 5G variants. As the beta manager stated, it has postponed until all the issues fixed.
It is common to have some issues in the beta version, but it looks like the issues are serious to handle for end users. Actually, yesterday Samsung has released One UI 3.0 beta version for Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but it later pulled back. Some users have even successfully installed it on their foldable Z Flip phone. Now, the official banner has posted on the Community app with the ‘Coming Soon’ sign. The Beta Manager has even requested users to not install this version till they fix the issue. (Update: Note 10 too) One UI 2.5 Update Now Rolling Out for Galaxy S10 Series
With the launch of Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra, Samsung has introduced One UI 2.5 version with some new features. Nearly two weeks ago, the company has dispatched this new update to the 2020’s Galaxy S20 series flagship models. Now the company is seeding a newer version to the Galaxy S10 series (not Galaxy S10 Lite) with almost all the features of One UI 2.5. The firmware version G97*FXXU8DTH7 is now rolling out for the devices, and as per the users mentioned, it is available in Germany. Along with it, you will see the latest Android’s September security patch.
The One UI 2.5 brings support for Wireless Dex, which lets you mirror your smartphone screen to the supported Samsung smart TVs. The Pro Video Mode has also been enhanced to get the most from the camera. Also, the update has made it easy to share Wi-Fi credentials with other Samsung Galaxy devices. In the keyboard, the keyboard search has been added that allows users to search for YouTube videos.
The keyboard also supports landscape mode for easy writing. In the SOS function, users can now share their real-time location every 30 minutes for 24 hours. Further, in the Always On Display users can set Bitmoji stickers, and finally Screen zoom & Font Size options have added for the customization of display size. Galaxy S10, S10+ & S10e Received One UI 2.1 Update
In the new firmware update, Samsung has updated last year’s premium smartphone series Galaxy S10 to the One UI 2.1. The new firmware version brings all the exclusive features of Galaxy S20 to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & galaxy S10e smartphones. Last wee, the moderator at Samsung Korea had already hinted about the new version, but he mentioned releasing it in the next month. Now it is good that the company brought it before the schedule. The firmware version G97*FXXU4CTC9 is now available in Germany, which counts 1556MB download.
It is the first major version for the Galaxy S10 lineup in the new year. It brings a new version of AR emoji to make rich conversation. There are now various menus, modes & filters to the camera like a single take, AR Zone, professional video, own filters, selfie sound & time lapse for the night mode for recording videos with the front camera in FHD/UHD at 60 fps. Quick crop setting in Gallery, as well as Samsung Keyboard with multilingual translation, stickers & undo/redo function, has also added.
The Quick share will allow you to share files with other Samsung devices in a secure mode. To share the music with your friends, you can now use the Music share function. Samsung Would Release One UI 2.1 Early Next Month
Earlier this month, We found the first sign of Samsung’s upcoming One UI 2.1 for Galaxy S & Note series. Now we have confirmed the news when it hits in the market for flagship smartphones. According to the Galaxy S moderator at Samsung Community, the company will deliver One UI 2.1 version early next month. As on the posted article, the moderator says, the update will release within three weeks that we can say it would happen in the first week of April.
One UI 2.1 will release for Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series devices. The first device to get the upcoming update is the Galaxy S10 series, as it has clearly mentioned in the post. Later, Galaxy Note 10 series will get it, and then it comes to previous flagship smartphones. South Korea will be the first country to receive it and later the US and other major countries. The One UI 2.1 includes screen zoom, apply dark mode to wallpapers, music share, AR zone, night hyper lapse mode, single take and Samsung Quick Share options with some other implements.
At current, only Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra & Galaxy Z Flip devices are running on One UI 2.1 version with Android 10. It is not the only news that we received today. Android 10 Beta for Galaxy S10 Starts in India
Samsung has quietly launched One UI 2.0 Beta with Android 10 program for few selected users in India. The Indian users with Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & Galaxy S10e can join the program if they have invited by the company. The users called Brand Ambassador who are close to the company in many ways and help users on Samsung Members app is now getting their hands on the new Android 10 beta testing program. Samsung has already released it in South Korea, Germany & the US. If you go to the Samsung Members app or website page in India then you will not see banner or invitation link, but some users are now saying that they are getting invitations from the Samsung to join the program before any one else.
The one user who is brand ambassador at Samsung Members app has shared the information and sent the screenshot of his new Galaxy S10. Many users have now confirmed it and installed new firmware version on their smartphones.
South Korea was the first country to get the new version on their Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Later, the company has released it in the US & Germany. In the first phase, only 1000 users were invited to the beta testing but later on October 14 it released for all Galaxy S10 series users. The Galaxy S10 5G will get it soon as South Korean Samsung community page has now posted a banner with ‘Coming Soon’. As per the report, Galaxy Note 10 series is suppose to get the latest version on October 21 and later remaining Samsung phones will join the beta program.

Android 10 One UI 2 Beta for Galaxy S10 is Coming
Samsung team has officially announced the One UI 2.0 Beta with Android 10 is coming soon to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & Galaxy S10e smartphones. The official Samsung team has posted the banner on the forum of the Samsung community and revealed some information. The banner is now active in two major countries – US & South Korea, tells Galaxy S10 series will get Beta firmware version. The post on the South Korean Samsung community also mentions Galaxy S10 5G will also get the Android 10 Beta version in the near future.
In the US, Sprint & T-Mobile users are the lucky ones to get their hands on the Android 10 Beta version before other carriers. They can install it along with unlocked Galaxy S10 series devices when the company releases the Beta firmware. The banner hasn’t mentioned Galaxy S10 5G, but we think sooner it will join the force. The new Galaxy Note 10 series are not part of this program; they might get it in the second phase that Note 10 series is Samsung’s latest premium phones.
To join the One UI 2.0 Beta program, first, register to the Samsung Members community. On all Samsung smartphones, the Samsung Member app comes pre-installed. Note 10 Camera Features Come to Galaxy S10 in New Firmware
New Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is dominant in every corner. Samsung has taken care of every function on the phone that it now considered as the best premium smartphone. Samsung introduced some new camera features on the 10th generation Note phablet that you will not see on the other Samsung smartphones. Not anymore, Samsung has finally released all these exclusive features to the Galaxy S10 series smartphones. The new firmware is now starting to distribute in Germany & Switzerland.
