    We had reported in the last month that Samsung is planning to conduct a beta program for its older flagship models. After the beta testing program starts for Galaxy Note 10 devices, the company is now recruiting it for the Galaxy S10 series. The Beta Operation Manager has officially posted a banner to recruit new users to taste the beta version before anyone else. The users in South Korea can now participate in the program, and anytime soon, it will open in other countries.

    The program is open for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e & the Galaxy S10 5G smartphones in the country. Samsung has promised to bring a stable Android 12 update for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in January next year. There is lots of time for Galaxy S10 to run on the beta version and taste the features. Samsung has released a stable version for Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S20 & Note 20 will get in this month as their testing program has ended.

Now, we can confirm that both devices will participate in the beta testing program for One UI 4 version. The Beta Operation Manager at South Korea has officially confirmed it to the Galaxy S10 users. Also, the other moderator had already confirmed it for Galaxy Note 10 series. As per the previous answer, the beta testing program for these devices will start from December.

    As per the official Android 12 schedule, both devices will get stable One UI 4 update in January 2022. The beta program for the users will start in all the selected countries, and the official banner will be posted on Samsung Members app. We will inform you when Samsung open the beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 devices.

    Both the devices were also part of One UI 3 beta testing program and received Android 11 update. Samsung has already mentioned these devices will get major updates for three years and this year might be last for them. It is good that Samsung has considered about these old flagship models.

    Last week, we have spotted Galaxy Note 10 with One UI 4 beta build firmware in the home country. The Galaxy S10 users are also eagerly waiting for an official answer about the beta testing program for these flagship models. Now, as per the Galaxy S community manager, Samsung may conduct a beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in December. He further said, it is not confirmed yet, and the company still deciding to whether open One UI 4 beta for these devices.

    Meanwhile, our discovery has found out both devices running on the Android 12 version. That means, soon both devices will run on beta version or stable version. The stable release date for both devices is in January 2022 in almost all major countries. Further, we have spotted Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10+ 5G variants in the Geekbench score, which shows these devices are running on the Android 12 version.

    The Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 5G received a 794 single-core score & a 2028 multi-core score in Geekbench 5 score. Finally, as we said Samsung is discussing the beta opening matter with the internal beta operation team. Today, when the Galaxy Fold 2 Beta version suspended due to serious bugs, many users were thinking, the company might postpone it again, but finally, Samsung opened it. With the update, users can use Android 11-based One UI 3.0 features. You can use the beta version and send the experience to the official team.

    The Galaxy S10 series is the last to receive the One UI 3.0 Beta version. Before it, Samsung has pushed beta for the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Z Flip & Galaxy Z Fold 2 devices. Though the Z Fold 2 received it today, it has postponed for a later day because of the errors.     Now, the Beta Operation Manager mentions, the One UI 3.0 beta for Galaxy S10, S10+ & S10e may launch early next week, so that means we could see the update on Monday or Tuesday. As per the Beta Operation Manager at South Korean Samsung Community, there were some serious issues in the One UI 3.0 Beta version of the Galaxy Note 10. It is the reason, the company has postponed beta updates for Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold 2, and their 5G variants. As the beta manager stated, it has postponed until all the issues fixed.

    It is common to have some issues in the beta version, but it looks like the issues are serious to handle for end users. Actually, yesterday Samsung has released One UI 3.0 beta version for Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but it later pulled back. Some users have even successfully installed it on their foldable Z Flip phone.     With the launch of Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra, Samsung has introduced One UI 2.5 version with some new features. Nearly two weeks ago, the company has dispatched this new update to the 2020’s Galaxy S20 series flagship models. Now the company is seeding a newer version to the Galaxy S10 series (not Galaxy S10 Lite) with almost all the features of One UI 2.5. The firmware version G97*FXXU8DTH7 is now rolling out for the devices, and as per the users mentioned, it is available in Germany. Along with it, you will see the latest Android’s September security patch.

    The One UI 2.5 brings support for Wireless Dex, which lets you mirror your smartphone screen to the supported Samsung smart TVs. The Pro Video Mode has also been enhanced to get the most from the camera. Also, the update has made it easy to share Wi-Fi credentials with other Samsung Galaxy devices. In the keyboard, the keyboard search has been added that allows users to search for YouTube videos.

    The keyboard also supports landscape mode for easy writing. In the SOS function, users can now share their real-time location every 30 minutes for 24 hours. According to the Galaxy S moderator at Samsung Community, the company will deliver One UI 2.1 version early next month. As on the posted article, the moderator says, the update will release within three weeks that we can say it would happen in the first week of April.

    One UI 2.1 will release for Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series devices. The first device to get the upcoming update is the Galaxy S10 series, as it has clearly mentioned in the post. Later, Galaxy Note 10 series will get it, and then it comes to previous flagship smartphones. South Korea will be the first country to receive it and later the US and other major countries. The One UI 2.1 includes screen zoom, apply dark mode to wallpapers, music share, AR zone, night hyper lapse mode, single take and Samsung Quick Share options with some other implements.

Samsung has already released it in South Korea, Germany & the US. If you go to the Samsung Members app or website page in India then you will not see banner or invitation link, but some users are now saying that they are getting invitations from the Samsung to join the program before any one else.

    The one user who is brand ambassador at Samsung Members app has shared the information and sent the screenshot of his new Galaxy S10. Many users have now confirmed it and installed new firmware version on their smartphones.

    South Korea was the first country to get the new version on their Galaxy S10 series smartphones. Later, the company has released it in the US & Germany. In the first phase, only 1000 users were invited to the beta testing but later on October 14 it released for all Galaxy S10 series users. The Galaxy S10 5G will get it soon as South Korean Samsung community page has now posted a banner with ‘Coming Soon’. As per the report, Galaxy Note 10 series is suppose to get the latest version on October 21 and later remaining Samsung phones will join the beta program.

The banner is now active in two major countries – US & South Korea, tells Galaxy S10 series will get Beta firmware version. The post on the South Korean Samsung community also mentions Galaxy S10 5G will also get the Android 10 Beta version in the near future.

    In the US, Sprint & T-Mobile users are the lucky ones to get their hands on the Android 10 Beta version before other carriers. They can install it along with unlocked Galaxy S10 series devices when the company releases the Beta firmware. The banner hasn’t mentioned Galaxy S10 5G, but we think sooner it will join the force. The new Galaxy Note 10 series are not part of this program; they might get it in the second phase that Note 10 series is Samsung’s latest premium phones.
