Android Pie Update Comes To Unlocked Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 & S8+
It is the welcome news for the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 and S8+ users, as the Android Pie update has been rolled out for these devices with March 2019 security patch level. As this is the effort by Samsung to roll out latest firmware version to its premium devices. At present this update is available for the unlocked users from US.
Firmware version for the Galaxy Note 8 is N950U1UEU5DSC1/N950U10YM5DSC1/N950U1UEU5DSC1 which is 1502.81MB in size and carries the security patch level of the March 2019. Where as for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ the firmware version is G9501U1UEU5DSC1/G950U1OYM5DSC1/G950U1UEU5DSC1 with the same security patch level of the Galaxy Note 8. This update weighs 1.5GB in size, as both these updates are large enough in size ensure that you have proper and strong connection.
Android Pie brings several exciting features to these devices. In past months the same updates were rolled out for the carrier locked versions of Note 8, Galaxy S8 and S8+. This update brings the changes such as One UI which replace the old Samsung Experience UI. Along with this other notable features of the latest update includes navigational gestures, minimal icons and many other features.

Galaxy Note 8 Received Stable Android Pie Update
Eastern Europe’s unpacked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users are now receiving the full One UI OTA update on their device. The update will take time to expand in other regions gradually, users will get over-the-air notification for download. Last week Samsung has released new update on its 4 year old Galaxy S6 smartphone, shows how it cares about its older devices, same as new updates released for Gear S3 & Gear Sport smartwatches. As per the prior news, Galaxy Note 8 got four separate Android Pie Beta Programs. Looking after Galaxy S9, S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 devices, company is taking care of Galaxy Note series and delivering major OS updates as per the requirement. This stable Android 9.0 Pie update is currently serving only in Eastern Europe, countries precisely Slovakia and Bulgaria.
As preference, supported regions for Android 9.0 Pie Beta Program will get official notifications first. There are not major differences between previously released Pie treats for Note 9, Galaxy S9 & S9+ and this newly discovered Galaxy Note 8 update but currently we don’t have key points or list of software changes to give you.
