    The smart widget function has finally reached the first generation Galaxy Fold smartphone. The function has been seeded on the new Galaxy Z Fold 2, Fold 3 & Flip 3 devices in their latest updates. Now the feature has come to the first-ever Samsung Galaxy foldable phone in its newest update. The company has also sent a June security patch with the package that squashes known bugs on the device.

    With the smart widget function, users will save extra space on the screen. It smartly combines all the essential widgets in one format and displays useful information. To enable the smart widget function, hold the wallpaper or empty space on the main screen. Next, it will show you the widget section where you can activate it.

    In the last few updates, Samsung is releasing new settings in the Apps from Unknown Sources section. The new option will help to prevent malicious apps on the device and provides extra security. You can also manage the list of blocked apps from the settings.

    The new setting has come to all the flagship models in the last few days, and now it has been released for Galaxy Fold. The changelog for devices in South Korea only shows this feature, but it is missing in the other countries. The users in other countries should see this option in the Unknown Sources section.

    Finally, Samsung has improved the overall quality of the first-gen foldable phone by removing minor issues. The latest firmware version F907NKOU3HVF2 is available to install in South Korea. It may soon release in other regions in the next few days.

    The first-gen Galaxy Fold can now use the taskbar, which is a shortcut for your favorite apps. The drag & split let you open the URL in the split-screen mode instead of in the new tab. In the Rotate all Apps, it forces all apps to open in landscape orientation, and also you can set Custom Aspect Ratio to the app. The improvements to the Multi-active window where you can open three apps side-by-side, let users choose the width & the height of opened apps. The Galaxy Fold also got a new Bedtime mode in the notification bar.

    The other smartphones Galaxy A52 & Galaxy M21 have received Bedtime mode and some UI changes along with app icons. The Samsung Pay Mini service has come to Galaxy M21 with the update. On all these devices, the ads in the core apps including the Weather app have been removed. The new firmware on these three phones also brings camera load, animation, and pop-menu load faster, and Samsung Messages get a direct video call option.

The Galaxy Fold in India will go on pre-order from October 4 & it will dispatch on October 20th. Now after India, Samsung has announced Fold for the middle east. The company has sent the emails to pre-registered users that the Galaxy Fold will go on pre-order from October 6. The pre-orders will start in five Gulf countries, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain & Kuwait.

    The email doesn’t reveal the price for the Galaxy Fold in these countries through the official page has revealed it will charge SGD200 for premium service. We think Samsung will unveil the price & availability in the coming days as October 6 is near. Last month, Samsung launched the device in South Korea, the US & major European countries. This month, the company will launch it in India, UAE & Australia. The pre-registration for the Fold in Australia has already started so that the company will announce the launch date in Australia in the next few days.

These are the customers who had pre-ordered Galaxy Fold in April and again later they have confirmed to wait for the re-release date when Samsung asked to confirm the mail till the end of May 31st. Today all the customers have received emails from the company clearly stated that the company has terminated all previous pre-orders and customers will no longer receive their Galaxy Fold.     Samsung is going to re-launch its first foldable smartphone, Galaxy Fold on September 6th in the special IFA event. The news is coming from South Korean media that claims Samsung has decided to unpack the repaired model of Galaxy Fold as early as possible. The IFA event will start on the same date in Berlin, Germany, and Samsung will not get any bigger stage than this to show its most expensive phone to the audience. The report says three major telecom operators in the country were in the talk with Samsung and come up with the final launch date.
