    The new Galaxy Fit 2 is now receiving an improvement update to enhance the overall quality. It is not the major update, though it has improved some corners. Samsung always seeds the first major update for its new devices, but Fit 2 is still waiting for it. The current version optimizes motion recognition while you performing the exercises.     It’s been a while since the Galaxy Fit e has received a new firmware update. The last update for Galaxy Fit e had been released in September where it received plenty of watch faces with new brightness & timeout settings options. Now, at the beginning of the new year, Samsung has released new firmware to fixes the known issues. The firmware version R375XXU0ASL1 that weighs 1.81 MB in size is rolling out to squash the two major problems on the fitness band. The latest software version is currently available in India.

    As per the changelog, these two issues have been fixed. First, the vibration error that occurred while receiving calls in certain circumstances has been fixed. Second, the issue where the heart rate icon disappeared has been fixed. After the last version, many users had complained about the disappearance of the heart rate icon. Finally, Samsung brings it back so users can use it with a quick tap.

    We have thought Samsung would introduce a music control feature on Galaxy Fit e, but we missed it in this version.     Samsung has finally released an update for Galaxy Fit that allows users to control music from the band. Galaxy Fit tracker missed this function during the launching, but now Samsung listened to the customers and released the feature. To get the latest version, you have to update the Galaxy Fit plugin from the Android Play Store or iOS App Store and later you will receive the new R370XXU0ASK1 firmware version in the Galaxy Wearable app. As we got the report, the latest update is available in the US, UK, Italy, South Korea & India.

    Samsung has also introduced 31 new watch faces to the Galaxy Fit. In the previous September update, Samsung had brought 14 new watch faces on the wearable, this time it focused on informative watch faces. Instead of look, users will get a date, time, heart rate, steps and whether information on the main screen. Some users have noticed Do not Disturb feature is now more responsive than before. Previously DND function was taking a few seconds to respond and this time Samsung has taken care of it.

The new firmware version R370XXU0ASG1 is now rolling out in France that is 20.72 MB in size. For the Galaxy Fit, the latest version brings improvements to the algorithm and stability to the battery charging. The change also brings a button to get a heart rate measurement on the heart rate widget. The other stabilizer codes applied to the tracker; the same feature Galaxy Fit e received in its previous software version.

    The first Fit e update released back in May that brings Dim Light to the band. The tiny software code was mean to improve battery life by adjusting screen brightness. Both wearables have already gone on purchase in major European & Asian countries (not in India) on May 31st. In Canada, Galaxy Fit is available to purchase for $149.99 and Fit e priced at $69.99. In the US, for bigger Galaxy Fit, you have to count $99.99. The shipping date is June 18, though Fit e is still not on sale and we hope it available to purchase in the few days.

    Last two years, Gear Fit2 & Gear Fit2 Pro was one of the best trackers in the market, and now Samsung tries to go one step ahead. The company offered a full-color AMOLED display and promised a one-week long battery life. The 5 ATM water resistance technology will save wearables from extra damage. The Galaxy Fit comes with Black & Silver colors, and Fit e has Black, Silver & Yellow color options.

    This week, Xiaomi has launched its 4th generation Mi Band 4 in the market with some striking features, like multi-color display, on-screen notifications, NFC, voice assistant, and built-in microphone. Samsung & Xiaomi are both offering feature packed fitness bands so it will be interesting to see which will grab more attention.
