    Just after releasing 3D renders & images of the Galaxy Watch 5 series, a leaker has now revealed Galaxy Buds Pro 2. The same leaker 91Mobiles is behind this successful leak, which has offered us 3D renders and official images. Samsung decided to go with a name after its Pro earbuds, and that’s where we knew both will have some similarities. At least for now, we can confirm both carry the same design if we go with these images.

    The main difference highlighted in the render is a panel on the top of each bud, which hints there will be a new sensor. It is difficult to speculate what is new Samsung is bringing to the new sensor. It could be a new feature or changes in the internal part.

    The leaked images show three main color options for the buds. It may come with Bora purple, graphite, and white color options. Of course, there will be more colors from Samsung, when it enters the market.

    Galaxy Buds Pro 2 Images

    The case looks similar to the Galaxy Buds 2 and it has a charging status LED on the front as well as a Type-C port for charging. The earbuds as usual have a microphone, speakers, a water-resistant tag, and many sensors.

    Rumors claim bigger battery life on the Galaxy Buds Pro 2 for both earbuds and charging case. Further, we can expect better sound quality, more features, and a bigger battery from the next buds. According to the report, Buds Pro 2 may announce it in the August event or at the end of July.

    After being exclusive for Galaxy Buds Pro for more than a year, the 360 audio feature has now come to other Galaxy Buds. The new Galaxy Buds 2 & Buds Live are now receiving new updates where Samsung has implemented this function. Both the earbuds have an affordable price tag, so earlier Samsung had opted out of this feature on new buds. With the new decision, the Buds 2 & Buds Live users can use 360 audio to listen to their favorite music & videos. The firmware was firstly launched in South Korea, and now, it is widely distributed in other countries.

    With the 360 audio functions, by playing media songs or videos users can feel three-dimensional or 360-degree surrounding sound for an immersive environment. On the Galaxy Buds 2, Samsung has improved call quality, so you will not face call drops or other issues. Further, it has enhanced Bluetooth connectivity and stability on the buds. Some users were facing connectivity issues in the past, and this update might help it.

    The changelog for Buds Live doesn’t mention any improvements in other areas, except overall stability. The latest firmware version R177XXU0AVC8 has been released for Galaxy Buds 2. The version R180XXU0AVC2 has rolled out for Galaxy Buds Live. Both earbuds are receiving these updates in South Korea, India, and some European countries. To get the new software, head to the Galaxy Wearable app, and check for pending updates.

    Galaxy Buds 2 is the new & affordable earbuds from Samsung, which has been launched with some new features. After being exclusive to the Buds 2 for few weeks, some features have come to the Galaxy Buds Pro in its latest update. The Noise Control function and listening ambient sound during calls were the major functions that added to the previous earbuds. The Galaxy Buds Pro users received it but look like Galaxy Buds Live & Buds+ users may not be lucky to get these functions.

    On the Samsung forum, the Galaxy Buds Manager has responded to the user’s query and denied any such update for Buds Live. He further said the functions applied for the new Galaxy Buds 2 & Buds Pro does not apply to Buds Live. The Noise Control function has two new features that users wanted to use. In noise control, users can enable noise control with only one earbud, and also customize ambient sound listening.

    Lastly, Samsung has added functionality to listen to ambient sound during calls, which is another needy function. Samsung has forgotten Galaxy Buds & Buds+, but it could launch these features for Buds Live earbuds. The Buds Live is the first Samsung earbuds that offered active noise canceling function. We need to see what features the next firmware for Buds+ & Buds Live brings.

Along with it, Samsung has dispatched a new Galaxy Buds Pro Plugin app version. In the latest piece of code, users can use ambient sound during calls.

    Further, the Buds Pro receives a new Noise Control option with two additional features. First, the earbuds let you control the noise of one specific bud rather than both. It is useful when you want to enable only one side of the earbud. Second, you can customize ambient sound listening from the noise control option. In this feature, the company has given control to the users to apply settings according to their needs.

    The Galaxy Buds app for Windows has received a new app update. With the latest app version, Galaxy Buds Live & Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds got Windows 10 support. Previously, only Galaxy Buds Pro was the Samsung’s earbuds to work with Windows 10 running devices. Unluckily, this time to Galaxy Buds+ hasn’t received this support, even when most of the users are demanding it. After pairing earbuds to the computer, users can operate buds settings and view the status.

    As Bluetooth earbuds, users can always pair their buds to personal computers or laptops, but with limitations. The official Galaxy Wearable or Buds app allows you to fully operate or control your earbuds from the PC. On the computer, you can control the ANC function, ambient sound, equalizer, and even install software updates on the earbuds. The interface for the Window 10 is much similar to the Android or iOS version. It includes all the features that we see on the standard phone app.

The users of Buds 2 can use it, when they get their hands on it. Previously, the option wasn’t there in the Galaxy Wearable app, and now the company has introduced it with the new buds. Now, as per the Buds Manager of Samsung at South Korea, the function will also come to the Galaxy Buds Pro soon.

    Actually, it was the Buds Pro users who first demanded the function, but Samsung launched it with Buds 2. The Buds Manager said they had received various requests to launch the noise control function. It means after Galaxy Buds 2, the Buds Pro users can also use this function. Further, the Samsung manager mentioned the new feature is under review, and he will notify when it completes. Doble-tap edge of the earbuds is also the function which came later on Buds Pro from Buds+ earbuds.
