Galaxy Buds Update Tracker: New Updates for Galaxy Buds Pro & Buds 2

Update (August 24): The two major earbuds from Samsung are receiving new software updates today. After the launch of the Galaxy Buds Pro 2, it is the first time Samsung has dispatched new updates for its older watches. As per the changelog, these are the regular firmware to stabilize performance. The firmware number R190XXU0AVF1 is released in more countries for Buds Pro. The Buds 2 gets the firmware version R177XXU0AVF1 (Via) has been released. You can install the updates from the Galaxy Wearable app.
Update (July 04): The Galaxy Buds Pro has today received a new software update in South Korea. As per the changelog (see image below), it has applied stability to code to enhance its performance. The latest firmware version R190XXU0AVF1 has been rolled out for the earbuds with a 2.23MB file size. It will soon release in other countries for the Buds Pro. To check for the new firmware, head to the Galaxy Wearable app, and open Buds software update.
Update (June 27): Again nearly after a month, Samsung has deployed a regular check update for the Galaxy Buds 2. It has released June’s first firmware version for the new earbuds. The changelog only reads, ‘The terminal operation-related stabilization code has been applied. In such regular updates, Samsung never reveals which part the developers have fixed or improved, so you should find it yourself. The new firmware version R177XXU0AVF1 is available to download in South Korea via the Galaxy Wearable app. Here is the screenshot for the latest firmware version.
Update (May 30): A minor firmware version is heading for Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds. It is a tiny update that does not bring any new features or significant changes to the Samsung earbuds. It has been dispatched to stabilize the device and fix minor bugs & other issues. The changelog only mentions stabilization code has been applied, which means it is a regular monthly update. The firmware version R177XXU0AVE1 comes with a 3MB size and rolling out in South Korea.
Update (Dec 13): In the latest firmware version, Galaxy Buds 2 has gained a new call control option in Touch Control. The detect wearing earbuds during calls feature which has recently been introduced on Buds Pro, Buds+ Buds Live has also come to Buds 2. The firmware version R177XXUA0UL2 is now spreading in South Korea. To install the update, first, update Galaxy Buds 2 Plugin app to the 4.0.21112451 version.
Update (Dec 06): After a long period of time, Samsung has released new firmware for the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds. In the home country, the earbuds received the R190XXU0AUK1 build number the file package is 2.23MB. In the new version, the company has added a new setting to detect wearing earbuds during calls. Further, Samsung has squashed minor bugs to provide more stability and improved performance.
The firmware version for Galaxy Buds Pro is currently releasing in South Korea, and soon you will receive it in your region. To check for the new version, go to the Galaxy Wearable app.

Galaxy Buds Pro 2 Cleared FCC Certification, Launch Imminent
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Buds Pro 2 earbuds have just cleared the necessary FCC certification. The truly wireless earbuds today appeared on the certification website, which hints we are near to seeing the next Galaxy Buds. In the FCC listing, the earbuds have been assigned with model number SM-R510. According to the report, Galaxy Buds Pro 2 may launch in sometime in July 2022, and it will be the successor of Galaxy Buds Pro.
The tipster claims the next Samsung earbuds will come in three colors. It may offer Zenith White, Zenith Bora Purple & Zenith Graphite color variants. The Galaxy Buds 2 has many color options, so the company might introduce more color options when it becomes available in the market.
It is the only information leakers have successfully gathered from the sources. The Galaxy Buds 2 was mid-range earbuds more than a high-end model. It has some new features over the previous earbuds, but it was never the true competitor of Google Pixel Buds 2 & Apple AirPods Pro.
From the next Galaxy Buds, we expect better battery life on both case and buds, improved active noise cancellation feature, seamless connectivity between various devices, and enhanced 360 audio feature. As per the previous report, Samsung will announce Galaxy Buds 2 before its August event.

Galaxy Buds 2 Receives New Features in First Update
The Galaxy Buds 2 is Samsung’s latest earbuds with advanced features but in the budget price segment. The company launched it along with other flagship Galaxy smartphones and watches. New Galaxy Buds Pro Update Brings Back Useful Function
Samsung is now releasing a new software update for its Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds. The latest firmware has brought an essential function on the earbuds, which is present on the previous Galaxy Buds. It has brought back the ‘Double Tap the Edge of the Earbuds’ function on the Buds Pro. This feature is available on the Galaxy Buds+, but Samsung removed it from the Buds Pro. It has been said that the shape of the new earbuds is different than the Buds+, which was difficult to operate. Though, now Samsung has brought it back to life.
This is different than the double-tap in the Touch Control section. This feature is available in the Lab section, where you can activate or deactivate it. When you enable it, then with the double tap on the edge you can increase or decrease the volume. To increase the volume double tap on the right bud, and to decrease the volume double tap on the left bud. Further, the firmware has improved the Active Noise Cancelling feature for better result. With the addition of touch & hold or long-press on the touch area, users can now toggle between ANC & Ambient.
Finally, the company has fixed minor issues to enhance the user experience. The latest software version is available in South Korea that soon will be released in other countries. Galaxy Buds+ Gets Auto Switch Function in the Latest Update
In the new firmware update, the year-old Galaxy Buds+ earbuds have received an auto-switching function. The function is first introduced on Galaxy Buds Pro, and last month it has launched on Galaxy Buds Live. Along with it, the Buds+ receives a Buds Control menu in the Bluetooth settings to make the controlling easy for users. The firmware version R175FXXU0AUB3 is currently rolling out in the US, India & South Korea for now.
The Auto-switch feature will allow you to automatically switch between your Galaxy devices like phone & tablet. For example when you are watching videos or streaming songs on one device and the other device receives a phone call then the earbuds will automatically connect to the phone call. It saves time to re-pairing your Galaxy Buds+ with the smartphone. At this moment it only supports Galaxy devices that run on One U1 3.1 software version.
In the market only flagship models are running on the One UI 3.1 version, so slowly more Galaxy devices will get this support. Galaxy Buds+ Update Again Improves Ambient Sound
Samsung’s two new products Galaxy S20 series & Galaxy Buds+, have some issues since the launch. In this situation, the company has tried to enhance the users experiencing with new firmware updates. The Galaxy S20 users have reported camera performance issues in many departments, so they received many updates. The same happens with Galaxy Buds+ since the launching, and from the first update, users get sound quality updates. New Galaxy Buds Update Brings Buds+ Features
Samsung always releases some exclusive features to its newly launched devices. Either it is Galaxy S20, Galaxy Z Flip, or Galaxy Buds+, all the devices received some never seen before functions on Galaxy devices. And later, after a few weeks pass, Samsung brings those features to the older models. The firmware fully loaded with features of Galaxy S20 recently came to the Galaxy S10 & Note 10 series. Now the company is doing the same with Galaxy Buds. The latest software update is now bringing exclusive functions of Galaxy Buds+ to the previous Galaxy Buds.
The firmware version R170XXU0ATD2 is now rolling out for Galaxy Buds that download 1.39MB in size. After the update, users can pair their Buds with the laptops more efficiently, thanks to Microsoft’s Swift pair. The PC running on Windows 10, version 1803, will automatically detect your Buds. With the Siwft Pair option, you can connect multiple earbuds at once. The Buds now allow you to experience Ambient Sound automatically. By simply putting your Buds on, you can hear surrounding sounds.
Ambient Sound can also work when using only one earbud while watching movies or listening to music. Finally, Galaxy Buds users can play the music without touching their phones, makes them true wireless earbuds. Users can play Spotify music that offers you personalized songs in a single press. For it, just Tap & Hold to launch the Spotify and play the music and also from where you have left. The update is now rolling out globally, and soon you will see it in your Galaxy Wearable app.

Latest Galaxy Buds+ Update Fixes Wind Noise Problem
To enhance the quality of the earbuds & to fix the known issues, Samsung always releases software updates from time to time. First Galaxy Buds+ update was also such an update that fixes the white noise issue and the delay in pairing the earbuds. Now to squash more bugs and to improve the overall quality of the Galaxy Buds+, Samsung has pushed out firmware version R175XXU0ATD3. The two notable changes in the latest version are, it solves the issue with wind noise & improves the effects of listening to the surrounding sounds.
First, it solves the problem with the function where it fails to suppress the sound of the wind when Ambient sound is enabled. Sometimes, in the windy weather, it was quite difficult to get better results where wind noise was heard loudly while on the call, and now it has made way for surrounding sound. The other change is that during the call when Ambient sound is enabled, it makes the effect of listening to the surrounding sounds a little more natural. We haven’t seen any problem with it though it is good to get better quality while on call.

First Galaxy Buds+ Update Solves White Noise Issue
Samsung has pushed out the first firmware update for the newly launched Galaxy Buds+ earbuds. The firmware version R175XXUOATB5 is now releasing in South Korea & Germany that weighs 1.21MB. The new software version will encounter the common issues having on Buds+, precisely the white noise issue. It also fixed the delay in pairing and solved disconnecting problems. First Samsung Galaxy Fit e Update Now Rolling Out
Samsung recently launched it’s dedicated Galaxy Fit & Fit e trackers, which aimed at the customers who prefer the perfect trackers. The next day after these trackers began, Samsung rolled out the first ever software update for the Galaxy Fit e band. The Galaxy Fit e is now live in all major countries, and it is good to see Samsung has released a new version for the wearable. The update adds an important feature known as Dim Screen, which aims to dim the screen brightness of trackers to extend the battery life effectively.

Samsung Galaxy Fit & Fit e Launched in US & Canada
Samsung has officially launched its latest fitness trackers Galaxy Fit & Fit e in the US & Canada. Both wearables have already gone on purchase in major European & Asian countries (not in India) on May 31st. In Canada, Galaxy Fit is available to purchase for $149.99 and Fit e priced at $69.99. In the US, for bigger Galaxy Fit, you have to count $99.99. The shipping date is June 18, though Fit e is still not on sale and we hope it available to purchase in the few days.
Last two years, Gear Fit2 & Gear Fit2 Pro was one of the best trackers in the market, and now Samsung tries to go one step ahead. The company offered a full-color AMOLED display and promised a one-week long battery life. The 5 ATM water resistance technology will save wearables from extra damage. The Galaxy Fit comes with Black & Silver colors, and Fit e has Black, Silver & Yellow color options.
Samsung introduced Galaxy Fit & Fit e along with Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Fold & Galaxy S10 series smartphones. All the remaining devices are available in the market, but Samsung put these trackers on hold. Update for Galaxy Buds Fixed Sound Loss Issue of Right Earbud
The important update for Samsung Galaxy Buds has resolved issue of the right earbud. It has fixed sound loss on one side of the earbuds during ambient sound mode. The new changelog with firmware version R170XXU0ASE1 is now rolling out to fix the issue and it weighs 1.35 MB. Since the last major update, most Buds customers have been complaining about the right earbud problem, which always stuck at low volume, for some it stuck to 1% volume. Samsung’s new generation fitness tracker Galaxy Fit e is now available to buy in Spain. It is now open for purchase and customers can buy it from Samsung’s official website. Galaxy Watch Active Received First Tizen Update
Samsung has released new improvement update to its newly launched Galaxy Watch Active smartwatch. It is first update to the new watch after its launching in the month of February. Recently, Galaxy Buds has been received its first update and now the latest Samsung smartwatch is on the list. The small piece of software rolled out to improve battery charging algorithm on Watch Active and to provide stability. The new firmware version is R500XXU1BSD3/R500OXA1BSD3 & only 13.83MB in size. The small update will run on same Tizen 4.0.0.3 version.
