    Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A50s Jumped to One UI 2.5

    Samsung’s 2019 mid-range smartphones are now upgrading to the newest One Ui 2.5 version. The company is seeding One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A50s with all the goodies. The firmware version A507FNXXU5CTK3 for the Galaxy A50s & version A705FNXXUSCTK4 is rolling out for Galaxy A70. With the newest version, Samsung has also released Android’s November security patch to provide enhanced security.

    In the One UI 2.5 update, users can use a split keyboard in landscape mode and Bitmoji stickers on the Always-on Display mode. It is now easy to ask for a Wi-Fi password in the Wi-Fi zone, and the new ‘Request Password’ button has been added to the device. It makes it easy to add or delete the languages in the Input languages in Samsung Keyboard. Apart from that, users will get SOS functionalities for Messages, enhanced camera features, and Google’s navigation gestures for third-party apps.

    The update for Galaxy A50s (Via SamMobile) is now rolling out in Vietnam, and the Galaxy A70 is getting the One UI 2.5 version in Ukraine. The users in other countries will see this version on their phones in the coming days.     Samsung is now rolling out OneUI 2.0 based Android 10 updates on the Galaxy A70s smartphone. The company has also resumed the Android 10 update for the Galaxy A70 smartphone in Ukraine. For an unknown reason, Samsung had paused the firmware in the country. On February 20, very few lucky customers were lucky to get the new software, but then the company suddenly stopped the rollout. Now the firmware update with the same build number is live again for the Ukrainian users.

    The Galaxy A70s is receiving Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 flavor in India with A707FDDU2BTC2 build number. As the South Korean company introduced, these higher mid-range devices get system-wide dark mode with darkening wallpapers. The screen recorder feature is already available on Galaxy A70s, but we hope the company would have seeded it on Galaxy A70. As the firmware has just dispatched, we have to wait to see what other features both deviceshave received.

    Samsung is now rolling out its latest Android 10 update with the company’s One UI 2.0 interface for Galaxy A70. In the last few moves, Samsung has surprised everyone by seeding the newest update on many of its flagship & mid-range smartphones before the scheduled roadmap. This month, Android 10 has installed on Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A50s smartphones, and now Galaxy A70 is getting updated. The firmware version A705FNXXU5BTB9 is currently available in Ukraine that weighs 2060MB in size.

    The new version also bumps google’s latest February 2020 security patch level. Once you update, your Galaxy A70 gets system-wide Dark Mode along with other goodies. As per the previous roadmap, Galaxy A70 supposed to get Android 10 in April so at least some users are lucky to get the version before its actual release month. It indicates the remaining Galaxy A series smartphones will get the update before the scheduled time.

    To check the new Android 10 update manually, go to Settings on your smartphone and then head to Software Update. Here, tap on Download and install. The latest version may soon available in other countries in the coming days. The Galaxy A70 was launched last year with a 6.7-inch screen and super AMOLED display. It also offers Snapdragon 675 chipset and is powered with a 4,500mAh battery.

    The community manager at Samsung’s South Korean Samsung Member app has stated that the Galaxy A series of smartphones will not get One UI 2.0 with the Android 10 Beta version. The news coming from South Korea, where community beta manager at Samsung forum replied to a user’s query regarding the beta program for Galaxy A series of smartphones. The users asked whether in the last month of this year will release a beta version for any Galaxy A of series smartphones, and the official team replied to the user, with ‘No’ answer.

    Till now, only premium smartphones have received the latest beta version. The Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Note 9 & Galaxy S9 duo has ever taken part in the beta testing program. Samsung Galaxy S10 has got seven beta updates, Galaxy Note series has received three beta updates and the Galaxy S9 series will get the second update in the next week. We were thinking at least Galaxy A90, Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A50 should have tested the beta version. But it looks like Samsung has finally decided to release a stable version for all Galaxy smartphones.

    As per the roadmap, Galaxy A30 will be the first smartphone to get the Android 10 beta version. The Galaxy A50, A70, A80, A6, A7 & A9 series devices will get it in April. The South Korean Galaxy A9 Pro users may receive a new version in January. The roadmap could change as Galaxy S10 is now getting a stable version so you can hope that your device will get the latest Android 10 release at the beginning of 2020.

    The latest Samsung Galaxy A70 software update comes with a support to Type-C headset. The USB Type-C headset will allow you to connect to the charging port by using a USB-C on your smartphone. These headphones came into the light when most of the companies abandoned headphone jacks for the wireless earphones. Samsung started it with Galaxy S8 & S8+ support for Type-c headsets and new Galaxy S10 series also supports it. The Galaxy A70 has 3.5mm jack to connect headphones, but still, Samsung updated the phone for the support to Type-C headset.

    The new firmware A705GMDDU3ASI2 is now rolling out in India, and it counts 648MB weights. It brings the latest Android’s September 2019 security patch. It is a major update for Galaxy A70 after the Night mode feature with a QR code scanner seeded on the device. The other notable changes on the device are improvements to the camera & fingerprint recognition. It enhances camera picture quality & to improve the performance of fingerprint recognition. Also, as per the changelog, the overall stability of the functions & total security of the device has enhanced by fixing minor issues.

    Samsung has released new improvement updates to its two A series of smartphones. The Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A70 is now receiving new firmware to improve the overall quality of the devices. The firmware version A705FNXXU3ASH4 is now rolling out in Spain with the August security patch. The Galaxy A30 gets the A305GNDXU2ASI1 firmware version with the August security patch and it is now available in Philippines, Algeria, UK & Bangladesh.

    Samsung Galaxy A70 is getting this major update after when it received Night Mode update in July. In August it hasn’t received any major updates, except August security patch. In the new software, Samsung has focused on two main areas. The Touch screen performance of the device and the Fingerprint recognition performance that has been improved. In the last few updates Samsung has improved Fingerprint performance on its all mid-range smartphones and the previous Galaxy A50 update was one of them. Also, many users have witnessed better battery life after installing this version.

    The other Galaxy A30 is now getting long waited software update in many countries. The firmware was supposed to release in July (only released in India) but due to some reasons, Samsung postponed it. Now nearly after two & half months users are receiving it.     Samsung has released the latest July update to its Galaxy A70 smartphone. The new software brings dedicated night mode and QR Code scanner features to the camera. These were the missing features on Galaxy A70 and now finally, Samsung brought them. The galaxy A50 was the first mid-range device to get both these features, in the June security update Galaxy A50 was lucky to get them. The latest firmware version A705GMDDU3ASG6 is now rolling out with Android’s July security patch that counts 367 MB in size. The software also improves the overall security of the smartphone.

    The interesting part of this update is, Samsung installed ‘Helo’ app on Galaxy A70, and users are not happy with it. Samsung never does such things, but recently, the company has installed many third-party apps on its range of smartphones. In the last Security update, Samsung pre-installed FabHotels, Likee, MobiKwik, Big Basket, and ShareChat apps on many devices. Most customers are unhappy with it; luckily, they can uninstall the apps. So if you have received such apps and you don’t want to use, then you can simply uninstall them.

    Samsung Galaxy A50 had received its one of the most important updates in June. In June, it received a dedicated Night Mode function to the camera with the super slow-motion & QR Code features. It was the first mid-range smartphone in Samsung’s A series lineup to get such rich features. This time Samsung pushed another update with the July security patch that all means to improve the camera quality of the device. As per the changelog, the picture quality of the phone camera will improve. Samsung is seeding new firmware version A505FDDU2ASG4, which is 189.28MB in size and now rolling out in India.

    If you look closer to the changelog then there is no change in the May update & July update, but after the update many users witnessed better camera quality & picture quality on their Galaxy A50 phone. Along with camera improvement, the new software also takes care of Wi-Fi by stabilizing it and improved connectivity. In addition, QR Scanner shortcut is now added to the notification panel.

This update brings Slow Motion function to the camera and improves compatibility with third-party apps. As per the changelog, it enhances compatibility with the Telegram app. The new piece of software comes with the June 2019 Android security patch.
