Android Pie Reached To Galaxy J7 Duo & Galaxy Wide 2
Samsung’s two budget smartphones are now tasting the latest Android Pie version with One UI flavor. The Galaxy J7 Duo & Galaxy Wide 2 are now receiving Android Pie update. The Galaxy J7 family member J7 Duo is receiving it in India and Galaxy Wide 2 getting new Pie version in South Korea, which only available in Samsung’s home country. The firmware version J720FDDU4BSG7 is seeding on Galaxy J7 Duo, and J727SKSU3CSG3 is for Wide 2. Both devices will be upgraded to Google’s July 2019 security patch after the update.
The update brings Samsung’s latest One UI features with Night Mode, UI tweaks, navigation gestures and Digital wellbeing to the devices. The version for J7 Duo weighs 1270 MB in size and Wide 2 software weighs 885 MB in size. The software is now available via Over-the-Air and soon available in other countries. Galaxy Wide 2 is only available in South Korea so all users in the country will receive it soon. To check it manually, Go to Settings > Software Update and download it.
The interesting fact is Galaxy Wide 2 is now two years old, launched in May 2017, and another fact is, it received the latest version before Galaxy Wide 3. That means that Galaxy Wide 3 will get an update very soon. The Galaxy J7 Duo was launched in April 2018 with Android Oreo software on the board. Yesterday, Verizon released Android Pie on Galaxy J3 smartphone and now another two Samsung devices are getting it.

Finally Galaxy J8 Users In India Receiving Android Pie Update
Samsung has now rolled out new Android Pie update to its Galaxy J8 for Indian users. The update has already been served to other major countries and now finally Indian users can install it. The firmware version carries J810GDDU2BSD5/J810GODM2BSD5/J810GDDU2BSC6 and it weigh 1196 MB in size. The new version will bring latest Pie features to the device with Samsung’s new One UI experience and it carries April 1st Android security patch to the device. It is interesting that last week Samsung has already delivered Pie update to the Galaxy J6 in India, which is lower model than Galaxy J8.
We all know Samsung is very slow to deliver updates to its mid-range & low range smartphones though this year company has released many updates on the major devices in the given time. To install new update on your Galaxy J8, go to Settings, then tap on Software Update and then hit on Download Updates Manually option. The update is just rolled out in the country so if you haven’t received it yet then wait for a while. Samsung will send you notifications about the new update otherwise you can check it manually.
Android Pie for Galaxy J8 originally launched on April 8 in Russia and later it served in other countries. It is now available to download in all continents. It has released in UK, US, Canada, Brazil, Malaysia, Philippines, Germany, Italy, Australia and other countries. Finally, as thay promised Indian users can use it. The same update also has released in Mexico. If you are from Mexico then check your device to get latest software version.
The new software update is important for J8 users that it brings lots of features with it. Samsung Released New Update for Galaxy A30 In India
Samsung has released new software update to its Galaxy A30 smartphone to improve its overall performance. The latest version will improve GPS performance, Proximity sensors and Audio quality on the Galaxy A30. New piece of software carries A305FDDU1ASD5/A305FODM1ASD5/A305FXXU1ASD5 firmware and it is 180.49 MB in size. It comes with April 1, Android security patch level which runs on Android Pie version. Latest update brings 3 major improvements to the smartphone.

Along with new software version, Samsung has improved overall performance of the smartphone by fixing minor issues and enhancing existing features. Latest Galaxy S10 & S10+ Update Improves Wi-Fi Stability
Samsung is making continuous efforts to improve the overall performance of its premium Galaxy S10 and S10+ smartphones. Now it has released new upgrade version to improve Wi-Fi quality on the phones. It also added with dedicated night mode features in some regions to make it equal with previous version. Now, Samsung rolled out an update for the device with firmware version G973FXXU1ASD5/G973FOXM1ASD4/G973FXXU1ASD4 for Galaxy S10 with the size of 205.81MB and it carries the security patch level of April, 2019. For the Galaxy S10+ the firmware version is G975FXXU1ASD5/G975FOXM1ASD4/G975FXXU1ASD4 and it weighs 205.18MB in size.
The latest update is intended to improve the stability of Wi-Fi as well as the performance of the camera of theses devices. However in the previous update Samsung added the dedicated night mode to camera of the devices and improved biometric security patch to solve the fingerprint issue. Samsung Galaxy J6 Joined Android Pie Club
Samsung has just released new Android Pie update to its mid-range smartphone – Galaxy J6. As promised the new version delivered on time and right after the Galaxy J8, which has got new software 2 days ago. The firmware version is J600GTVJU3BSCA/J600GTOWO3SBCA/J600GTVJU3BSCA and it is 1233.38MB in size. It will carry 1st March 2019 Android security patch.
As per our sources and confirmed by our readers it has released in Brazil & Italy. Soon it may hit in other countries. To download latest update on your Galaxy J6 go to Settings -> Software Update and here tap on Download Updates Manually. If it is not available in your country then wait some while to its fully rolled out.
As a reminder, Samsung has launched Galaxy J6 to counter its other Chinese rivals. Android Pie Update Comes To Unlocked Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 & S8+
It is the welcome news for the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy S8 and S8+ users, as the Android Pie update has been rolled out for these devices with March 2019 security patch level. Where as for the Galaxy S8 and S8+ the firmware version is G9501U1UEU5DSC1/G950U1OYM5DSC1/G950U1UEU5DSC1 with the same security patch level of the Galaxy Note 8. This update weighs 1.5GB in size, as both these updates are large enough in size ensure that you have proper and strong connection.

Galaxy Note 8 Received Stable Android Pie Update
Eastern Europe’s unpacked Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users are now receiving the full One UI OTA update on their device. The update will take time to expand in other regions gradually, users will get over-the-air notification for download. Last week Samsung has released new update on its 4 year old Galaxy S6 smartphone, shows how it cares about its older devices, same as new updates released for Gear S3 & Gear Sport smartwatches. As per the prior news, Galaxy Note 8 got four separate Android Pie Beta Programs. Looking after Galaxy S9, S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 devices, company is taking care of Galaxy Note series and delivering major OS updates as per the requirement. This stable Android 9.0 Pie update is currently serving only in Eastern Europe, countries precisely Slovakia and Bulgaria.

Galaxy J7 Max Received Android Oreo 8.1 Update In India
Samsung Galaxy J7 Max users in India is now receiving Android Oreo 8.1 firmware update on their phones. The firmware version is G615FXXU2BRL3/G615FODD2BRL3/G615FXXU2BRL3 and it is 1169MB in size. The latest update will upgrade phone to Samsung Experience 9.5 version. Samsung has rolled our Android Pie 9.0 version for premium smartphones Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ & Galaxy Note 9 and now the mid-range devices are getting Oreo update. These are few highly mentioned features added into the new software update. Apart from these, Samsung has improved device security with upgraded Biometrics feature. Quick Panel will now manage notifications for each app with notification categories and icons will be shown at the bottom of the notification panel for notifications that aren’t currently visible.
Now you can touch & hold an app to display shortcuts to common or recommended tasks within the app. In the new version currently running apps will be shown in the notification panel. These are some notable features added to the Galaxy J7 Max.
