    Android Pie Reached To Galaxy J7 Duo & Galaxy Wide 2

    Samsung’s two budget smartphones are now tasting the latest Android Pie version with One UI flavor. The Galaxy J7 Duo & Galaxy Wide 2 are now receiving Android Pie update. The Galaxy J7 family member J7 Duo is receiving it in India and Galaxy Wide 2 getting new Pie version in South Korea, which only available in Samsung’s home country. The firmware version J720FDDU4BSG7 is seeding on Galaxy J7 Duo, and J727SKSU3CSG3 is for Wide 2. Both devices will be upgraded to Google’s July 2019 security patch after the update.

    The update brings Samsung’s latest One UI features with Night Mode, UI tweaks, navigation gestures and Digital wellbeing to the devices. The version for J7 Duo weighs 1270 MB in size and Wide 2 software weighs 885 MB in size. The software is now available via Over-the-Air and soon available in other countries. Galaxy Wide 2 is only available in South Korea so all users in the country will receive it soon. To check it manually, Go to Settings > Software Update and download it.

    The interesting fact is Galaxy Wide 2 is now two years old, launched in May 2017, and another fact is, it received the latest version before Galaxy Wide 3. The new version will bring latest Pie features to the device with Samsung’s new One UI experience and it carries April 1st Android security patch to the device. It is interesting that last week Samsung has already delivered Pie update to the Galaxy J6 in India, which is lower model than Galaxy J8.

    We all know Samsung is very slow to deliver updates to its mid-range & low range smartphones though this year company has released many updates on the major devices in the given time.     Samsung has released new software update to its Galaxy A30 smartphone to improve its overall performance. The latest version will improve GPS performance, Proximity sensors and Audio quality on the Galaxy A30.     These are few highly mentioned features added into the new software update. Apart from these, Samsung has improved device security with upgraded Biometrics feature. Quick Panel will now manage notifications for each app with notification categories and icons will be shown at the bottom of the notification panel for notifications that aren’t currently visible.
