In several countries, many users have confirmed it by installing One UI 4. Some users on Galaxy A52 & Galaxy A72 have reported some minor issues on the Samsung Community app, so make sure are sending errors to the company. The sources say the version is released in India, the US, UK, Germany, South Korea, China, Russia, Italy, Canada, and other major regions.

    Update (Dec 29): Galaxy S20 & Note 20 are not the only flagship devices to get the latest version. Samsung has today seeded One UI 4 update for more Galaxy devices. The official Android 12 update is now available for Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Flip 5G, Galaxy Tab S7 & Tab S7+ devices. After the fixed software of the One UI 4, Samsung is not stopping with a few models, but it is trying to cover all the models. The new firmware is launching in all the major countries as covered by the SamMobile team. You should check your smartphone or tablet for the latest software.

    Update (Dec 28): It took some time for Samsung to fix major issues in the latest version, and this whole schedule was running in a late situation. Though there were many issues in the software, Samsung has finally fixed them. Now, as reported by SamMobile, the Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 & Galaxy Z Fold 2 smartphones are receiving One UI 4 update. The firmware version G98xxXXSCEUL7 has been released for the Galaxy S20 series and the version N98xxXXS3EULF has been released for Galaxy Note 20 series phones. The latest year’s Galaxy Z Fold 2 is getting version F916BXXS2FULE in Android 12 update. All the updates are rolling out in the European countries for now.

    Update (Dec 06): The latest foldable phones are now getting Android 12-based One UI 4 stable version. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 are the devices to get major Android 12 updates along with Samsung’s skin. As per the report, Z Flip 3 gets firmware version F711BXXU2BUKM in Siberia, where Fold 3 is receiving it in South Korea, though the firmware version is unknown for now.     Update (Nov 15): After taking one & a half months in the beta testing program, Galaxy S21 users are finally receiving a stable One UI 4 update. The update is massive and rolling out across all the major countries that participated in a beta program. Samsung has today officially announced it along with the release schedule in the home country. The update includes plenty of new features, changes & improvements for the mighty Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones.

    In the combination with One UI 4 & Android 12 firmware, users can notice new Material You design-inspired color theme on the system. It has enhanced user privacy and security to take it to a whole new level. Samsung has finally decided to remove all the ads from its stocks apps to provide better services. The rolled-out update is 222MB in size for the beta users as they have already installed the necessary files on the device. It comes with a November security patch and is available in all the beta-supported countries.

    As per the South Korean roadmap of Android 12, the update will soon release to foldable phones and later to the older flagship models.     We had reported in the last month that Samsung is planning to conduct a beta program for its older flagship models. After the beta testing program starts for Galaxy Note 10 devices, the company is now recruiting it for the Galaxy S10 series. The Beta Operation Manager has officially posted a banner to recruit new users to taste the beta version before anyone else. The users in South Korea can now participate in the program, and anytime soon, it will open in other countries.

    The program is open for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e & the Galaxy S10 5G smartphones in the country. Samsung has promised to bring a stable Android 12 update for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in January next year. There is lots of time for Galaxy S10 to run on the beta version and taste the features. Samsung has released a stable version for Galaxy S21 series, and Galaxy S20 & Note 20 will get in this month as their testing program has ended.

    Samsung has ended the One UI 4.0 Beta testing program for the Galaxy S20 series in South Korea. The company will not recruit more users to the program, and also it may not release beta updates in the future for smartphones. It means the next firmware release for the device will be a stable One UI 4 version in the country. Samsung had opened a beta program for the Galaxy S20 series at the beginning of last month, and currently, it has received a second beta version with known bugs fixes.

    The stable version of Android 12 has been rolled out on the Galaxy S21 series after the fourth beta version. It looks like the company won’t need to release that many beta updates for Galaxy S20, and it is now ready for a stable version after the second beta. The official roadmap for One UI 4 has mentioned the flagship model will get a global version in December and we are now in the new month. The roadmap for almost all countries shows the same month for rollout so it could start this week or the next one.

    Update: As we go through more research, we found out Samsung has also stopped recruiting users for the Galaxy Note 20 beta program. many users on the Samsung community forum have confirmed it and say the official recruitment banner has disappeared. The Beta Operation Manager has also mentioned December 1st is the deadline to participate in the program. Now on, the new users can not participate in the beta program, and they have to wait for the official stable Android 12-based One UI 4 update.

After Galaxy S20 & Note 20, these are the last year’s flagship models to participate in the beta program.

    The Beta Operation manager has officially announced it via a banner in the Samsung Members app. The users who want to join the beta program can open the Members app and signup for it. It is now open for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Flip & Flip 5G phones in South Korea. As it is now open in the home country, it will soon open in the other countries where Samsung has started beta program.

    Samsung revealed Android 12 Schedule for More Countries

    After Brazil & South Korea, Samsung is now revealing its Android 12-based One UI rollout schedule in more countries. The US, India, the UAE & Nepal are now getting an official roadmap for the next major One UI 4 version. As per the schedule in the US, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 will receive the update in December, where the Galaxy S21 series have already started this month. The previous flagship models Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Note 10 series, Z Flip & Fold 2 will join it in January 2022.

    The US schedule mentions Galaxy A52 5G will be the first A series phone to get a new version in February. In tablets, Galaxy Tab S7 & S7 FE variants are the first in line to receive it in February next year. For India, the schedule will start from December this year with Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 devices. Interestingly, all the remaining older flagship phones after Galaxy S10 & Note 10 will get the update in January including foldable phones. The latest mid-range devices Galaxy A52, A52s, A72, and Galaxy Tab S7 variants are on February’s waiting list.

    The neighboring country Nepal also shares the same schedule as India, though there may be changes at the time of launching. The official schedule for middle-east also shares the same roadmap for the new flagship devices. The Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 are in December, and the last year’s flagship models are in January.     Right after the Android 12 update for Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has released a second beta version for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 phones. Two weeks ago, both foldable phones have joined the beta testing program, and now receiving their second beta with plenty of fixes. The firmware version ‘ZUKA’ has been deployed to solve major issues and know bugs. As per the changelog, it has improved camera-related & lock screen-related behavior. The freeze, blur, and slowness issues have been tackled for the lock screen in the latest beta.

    The Wi-Fi automatic connection error and the screen not working at a 120Hz refresh rate have also been solved. The known bugs in rebooting the device and screen freeze are also on the radar to get a better experience. On the cover screen, users will get enhancement in incoming text overlapping, widgets, and GIF settings. The stuttering behavior has improved when sharing the batteries. Further, it has talked about known issues with the Camera app, Samsung Health app, and other services.

    Samsung is finally starting to announce an official roadmap for Android 12-based One UI 4 update to its Galaxy devices. The first schedule has now been spotted in Brazil, where the company has announced when the Galaxy devices will receive a stable Android 12 update. Note that this schedule is for Brazil, so other devices in major countries may receive it before these dates or later these dates. Like Telus operator in Canada has announced Galaxy S21 will get Android 12 version on November 23.

    According to the post, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 will first receive a major update in December. The Galaxy S21 series will be getting it in January along with Galaxy Z Flip, Fold, Fold 2 & Flip 3 devices. In February, Samsung will roll out a new version for its older flagship devices. The Galaxy S20, S20 FE, Note 20, Galaxy S10+, A52s, A72 & Tab S7 will join the squad in February. In March, Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Lite, Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10 Lite, and A52 have been scheduled.

    Official Android 12 Roadmap

    The Galaxy M62 will be the first M series model to receive it in May. The new Tab S7 FE, Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite will get it in May along with Galaxy A51 & Galaxy M52. All the remaining mid-range smartphones, tablets, and older devices have been listed in June 2022 and later months.

    As we said earlier, the schedule is only for Brazil. If you look at the past, then these dates may change. The major countries like the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea, India & China may receive a totally different roadmap. Refer images below for exact schedule.

    Recently, the South Korean beta Operation Manager via the Samsung Members app announced there won’t be any beta updates for Galaxy S21 series. He further hints the stable release of Android 12-based One UI 4 will start soon for these devices. Now, we have confirmed news from other Community Manager about the official Android 12 release. The Community Manager at Telus operator has officially confirmed stable Android 12 version for Galaxy S21 series will start from November 23 in Canada.

    The Telus Community Manager has posted an updated schedule on the forum page that clearly mentions the exact release date for the stable rollout. According to the updated post, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive the Android 12 version on November 23. In the new version, Samsung will seed revamped UI design, Material You-inspired color theme system, improved privacy & security, better performance. Further, it will get enhanced & ad-free stock apps like Samsung Pay, Health, Internet Browser & Keyboard.

    Only the Galaxy S21 devices have been listed in the schedule for the current month. In next month, more devices will join the new major update. The Galaxy S20 lineup, Note 20 series, Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 are also in the beta. They could also get promoted to a stable version somewhere in December. The schedule is only for Canada for now, and we may soon get an official roadmap from the company for other countries.

    At the end of last month, Samsung stopped recruiting new users in the One UI 4 Beta testing program for Galaxy S21 series. Now after the fourth beta version, the Beta Operation Manager has confirmed there won’t be any further beta updates for the Galaxy S21 series. In the user’s answer at the South Korean Samsung Community, he said, the company will not dispatch any new updates. The next major update for the Galaxy S21 devices will be the official or stable Android 12-based One UI 4 version.

    The Beta Operation manager further mentioned all the issues that occurred in the fourth beta will be solved, and after correction, the final version will be delivered. Note that, there may not be a fifth beta update for the device, but Samsung might release a hotfix update if it is necessary. The manager hasn’t revealed the exact schedule for the One UI 4 stable rollout. As per his previous posts, it could happen before the end of this month.

    There was chatter in between users about the new beta update when popular tipster Ice Universe claims about the 5th beta version. He claimed in the next beta Samsung will bring back the stretch overscroll effect. He may not be wrong after all, and the company may bring it in the stable version. It looks like some lucky customers have received it accidentally or it may have leaked by Samsung team member. There is also chance Samsung may have pulled beta version for another date. As we checked on Reddit forum, more users are claiming they have received new beta version on their Galaxy S20 models. Also, some users from the UK received it too. We will inform you, when there is official announcement.

    Today, a few hours ago, we covered that the official Galaxy S Manager announced to release One UI 4 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series very soon. Now, the US users of the Unlocked Galaxy S20 series are getting an Android 12-based beta version. Without any ‘coming soon notice, Samsung has directly released a beta update in the US. We thought the update will first release in the home country, and later come to other countries, but Samsung first chose to roll out in the US.

    To apply for the new One UI 4 Beta program, open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. For now, it is open for Unlocked Variants, and soon it will come to other locked models. The stable version for the Galaxy S20 series may release in December says Galaxy S Manager at Samsung community South Korea. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3 are already inside the beta testing program, and soon they could get a stable Android 12 version.


    In the new update, along with Android 12 features, One UI 4 version Samsung has changed plenty of features like redesigned Home screen widgets, more options on the lock screen, Quick settings panel redesign, more features in Samsung keyboard, removed ads from stock apps, and more. Note that, it is an early version of the beta, so some features and apps may not work properly, so you should download the beta version if you are okay with it.

    In the latest answer to the query, he hinted the firmware version number ends with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. Further, he mentioned the next update for Galaxy S20 will be based on the One UI 4 beta program. It means in the next few days or till mid-November, Samsung could open a beta program for Galaxy S20 devices. The answer is for South Korean users, where the S20 series is running on the October patch with the ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ build number. The other countries have already received the November security patch, but South Korea is still waiting for a new update.

Unfortunately, the update is not for the Thom Browne Edition of both devices.     In the beta program, you can use & test new features of One UI 4 with Android 12 software in the early stage. The One UI 4 version brings extended privacy protection, where you can get extra security to stop privacy leakage. You can prevent the privacy of personal information, camera location access, microphone, and many other functions. In the Dynamic color or color palette, you can customize the color of a system based on the color of the wallpaper. You can apply colors to menus, buttons, backgrounds, and apps.

    This week, Samsung has released One UI 4 Beta 3 for Galaxy S21 series. It dispatched with plenty of improvements & fixes to stabilize the software. Now, the third beta is getting a hotfix to squash missed bugs. The company always releases hotfixes to its beta version when most of the users demand a quick fix, or their phone is not working properly due to bugs in software. This new emergency update does the same job. It fixes bugs and solved app crashing issues by stabilizing code.

    As per the changelog, it solved the issue with some browsers that were not working. The app crashes when sharing images from the Gallary, and the app closes when a music file is executed has been solved. Further, it fixes the Samsung Music app, which was creating a problem for the Always-on display screen to not appear when the screen is turned off.
