Earlier, the Samsung rep had officially confirmed the beta testing for the One UI 4.0 version with Android 12 will start from today, September 09, in its home country. Now, looks like there is something change in the plan, and that’s not going to happen today. Samsung official team has again come ahead and announced that the beta program for the One UI 4.0 version which was supposed to open today has been postponed. The official representative hasn’t mentioned any reason behind the sudden delay in the schedule.
In the earlier statement, the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra on SKT, KT & LGU+ telecom subscribers were planned to get beta version later today. Now, in the changed plan, all these users have to wait for a little longer to join the beta testing. It also put doubt on the other answer given by the Samsung rep. He stated the beta testing will be open between September 09 to October 29, which hints at the end of October or in early November, flagship models may receive stable versions.
If the beta testing has been postponed for a couple of days, then as per mentioned schedule, the users could still get their hands on a stable version in early November. Along with South Korea, the US & Germany will be joining a beta testing program for Galaxy S21. India, UK & China still have to get official confirmation about the beta joining. The beta program will also open for Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 20 & previous-gen Galaxy foldable phones.
