Samsung Closed Its Shopping App ‘Samsung Mall’

Samsung is poised to close its all-in-one shopping app, which is known as Samsung Mall. The company started this AI-powered one-stop shopping solution early in January 2018, but now it’s going to put an end to this app. Samsung did not mention any specific reason for this decision. However, it was sending notifications to all users in India, which notes that Samsung Mall service will be no longer available from 30th June 2019. Finally, yesterday it closed for all the customers in India.
This app was launched as a platform that provides various products like e-commerce platforms Amazon, TATA CliQ, ShopClues, and Jabong. Since the launch of the app, it came pre-installed with different smartphones of the company. Customers were able to shoot the image of the product in real life, and based on AI-powered technology. Then the app gives matching products from partnered shopping sites.
Though the app has near about 10 million downloads from the Play Store, it falls short of the company’s expectation. It may be one of the reasons behind this strategic decision, but there is no official statement by Samsung for the discontinuation of the Samsung Mall app.
The notification sent to the users of this app remarks, “Thank you for your support, Samsung Mall will be discontinued, and service will not be available from 30th June 2019.”
Although the company has not delivered an official statement, we can guess the reason behind this step. There is stiff competition as all the major e-commerce platforms have their app on the Play Store, and this ensures easy access to consumers.
This full availability of significant e-commerce platforms enhances the shopping experience. Now Samsung has done away with its Samsung Mall app, which was launched to provide one-stop solutions for shopping for different products.

New Galaxy A50 Update Brings Night Mode & Super Slow Motion Features
The Samsung Galaxy A50 now receiving a new update that brings Night Mode & Super Slow Motion features to this mid-range smartphone. The Galaxy A50 already has Slow Motion function and now with Night Mode & Super Slow Motion users can use their cameras to the fullest. The update is currently rolling out in India with the firmware version A505FDDU2ASF2 and brings June 2019 Android security patch. Along with this two important camera features Samsung also introduced Steady Mode to the video shooting & take care of Knox Guard, which now improved and more stable.
Previously, the dedicated Night Mode & Super Slow Motion features are only available for Samsung’s premium smartphones – Galaxy S10 models, Galaxy S9 models & Galaxy Note 9. Its Glad company brings it to this mid-range smartphone, even before Galaxy A70. Both camera features have not mentioned on the changelog. When you update the smartphone you will not get both camera features. For that, you have to reset camera settings on your Galaxy A50.
The new update is currently rolling out in India, and it is important firmware so Samsung will release it soon in other countries in the coming days. Recently, Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A70 have received a major update in India and if I am not wrong then in the next updates both devices will get these camera features.

New Galaxy Buds Update Improved Call & Music Streaming Quality
Samsung is pushing new firmware to improve the quality of its cord-free earbuds. Last month, it released to stabilize the Bluetooth connection to fix the sound loss issue of the right earbud. Samsung Galaxy Buds have received a new update to improve call & music streaming quality of the hearable. The tiny firmware update comes with R170XXU0ASF3, and it counts 1.36MB in size. As per the changelog, It also fixed the error of Ambient Sound, and now battery lower level will display between the two earbuds on the phone.

The new version will improve phone call quality of the Buds in the outdoor activity and same goes to music streaming, now in the outdoor, music streaming will be more stable than before. The last version was mean to fix the error of Ambient Sound, but after installing the new version, many customers were complaining all again. This time, Samsung has rolled out another version to fix the issue, and we hope this time error has been solved.

Galaxy A70 & A30 Receives Improvement Update
The new software updates for Samsung Galaxy A70 & Galaxy A30 are available to download. The latest software versions aim to improve some key features of the devices along with security. Samsung to Launch Galaxy Fold at the end of July
Since the delay of its original launching date in April, Galaxy Fold is a hot topic for a few weeks due to its unpredictable launch date. It supposed to launch in April, but then it postponed to fix the hardware problems. Now the news coming from South Korea says that Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy Fold at the end of July. According to the Yonhap news, Samsung Electronics & mobile communication companies are negotiating to launch Galaxy Fold at the end of next month. On the release date, mobile communication companies say, they have finished all the required tests for the device and further improve the quality, even after Samsung launches the Fold in the market.

Android Pie Update for Galaxy J7 Pro Released in India

Samsung Galaxy Fold Ready to Release
As the various issues related to the screen of Samsung’s first foldable smartphone, Galaxy Fold has fixed, the device is ready to hit the market soon. Samsung Display executive says the company has solved all the problems that occurred at the time of testing the device. Also, Samsung Display Vice President confirmed this news at the recent speech in a conference in Seoul on 18th June. The device faced the issues of breaking the screen while it offered to the reviewers.
The screen issue compelled the company to postpone the launch of Galaxy Fold, which was scheduled to launch in April. After the delayed start and cancellation of all pre-orders of the device, there are several rumors regarding the launching date. After the postponement, it rumored that the company would launch the device in July, but the company denied it and said that it would release the launching schedule in a few weeks.
There is no official schedule for the release of Galaxy Fold has announced. The recent statement by the company officials indicates that it’s going to hit the market soon. The issue of flickering screen and crease in the middle of the screen has fixed. It is positive news for Samsung and its customers. First Samsung Galaxy Fit e Update Now Rolling Out
Samsung recently launched it’s dedicated Galaxy Fit & Fit e trackers, which aimed at the customers who prefer the perfect trackers. Samsung Galaxy Fit & Fit e Launched in US & Canada
Samsung has officially launched its latest fitness trackers Galaxy Fit & Fit e in the US & Canada. Both wearables have already gone on purchase in major European & Asian countries (not in India) on May 31st. In Canada, Galaxy Fit is available to purchase for $149.99 and Fit e priced at $69.99. In the US, for bigger Galaxy Fit, you have to count $99.99. The shipping date is June 18, though Fit e is still not on sale and we hope it available to purchase in the few days.
Last two years, Gear Fit2 & Gear Fit2 Pro was one of the best trackers in the market, and now Samsung tries to go one step ahead. The company offered a full-color AMOLED display and promised a one-week long battery life. The 5 ATM water resistance technology will save wearables from extra damage. The Galaxy Fit comes with Black & Silver colors, and Fit e has Black, Silver & Yellow color options.
Samsung introduced Galaxy Fit & Fit e along with Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Buds, Galaxy Fold & Galaxy S10 series smartphones. AT&T Cancelled all Galaxy Fold Pre-orders
After the Best Buy, now AT&T has cancelled all the pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Fold. Today, AT&T has sent emails to all the customers to inform them the company has automatically canceled all the pre-orders. Samsung is taking too much time to declare an official release date for Galaxy Fold, and that is not in favor of customers. Many time Samsung said the company is working on a proper solution, and soon it will declare launch date. But that is not happening soon, that’s why AT&T finally decided to take this decision. AT&T said it would refund all the credit if charged and will give a $100 promotion card within the next 60 days in customers account.
In the previous mail, the company said, it is working on the issue, and soon it will come up with the final launch date. In the last few weeks, we are getting too much news about the progress of the Galaxy Fold. In the recent interview, the Samsung spokesperson promised that the company would soon announce the release date. Many estimates it might relaunch in July with improved quality and South Korea be the first country.
The other retailer, Best Buy, has already cancelled all the pre-orders and said the company would notify customers if there is news from Samsung. Last month, Samsung requested all customers to confirm their orders and be patient. New Galaxy S9 Update Brings Camera Night Mode
Samsung has released an important update to its last year’s flagship phones – Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ to bring them closer to the Galaxy S10 series smartphones. The main feature into the latest software is ‘Night Mode,’ added to the camera, which was only available for Galaxy S10 models. The 574MB update comes with June 2019 android security patch along with another couple of features. Finally, One UI Update Reached to Galaxy Watch LTE 46MM in US & Europe
Last month, Samsung released One UI update to its all three major smartwatches – Galaxy Watch, Gear S3 & Gear Sport, in all regions. But the unlucky ones were Galaxy watch LTE 46MM users although Galaxy Watch 42MM LTE & Wi-Fi models received the latest version. Now finally, Samsung decided to release the latest One UI software to this watch to the users in the US & Europe. There are two different firmware available for these customers. The new firmware R805FXXU1ESE6 is available for European customers, and US customers get the R805USQU1BSE3 version though both receive the same features.
New watch faces to change the look of your watch if you want to change the previous look, and the new animations and graphics will overhaul the whole experience. Among the new features, sleeping mode, daily activity, outdoor swimming will now be added in workout features to check overall progress. Under the Wellness of heart feature, the Samsung watch will notify users if the heart rate measured over the limit.
The new Battery Optimization function has added to enhance battery life on the watch. After the update, you can experience better synching with your paired smartphones. Galaxy Fold may Release in July, With Exclusive Game ‘Traha’
There is no official statement from Samsung for the release date of the first foldable phone. But now news coming from South Korea claiming Samsung is planning to launch Galaxy Fold in July 2019, this has been quoted by a Samsung executive. Reports that Galaxy Fold may be released in August are now sidelined by this latest statement of a Samsung executive. This news has been confirmed by a Korean publisher NewsTomato, who quoted the head of the IM division of Samsung Electronics.
We also have news that Samsung and Nexon are working on the exclusive game for Galaxy Fold to use the phone’s hardware & software at the customer’s benefit. The Nexon’s massive hit game ‘Traha’ will be the first exclusive foldable game for Galaxy Fold. Traha is MMORPG game for mobile devices & it is currently available to download in South Korea. Previously, on May 17, Samsung & Nexon had shared some images of ‘Traha’ for Fold device and announced to give free coupons for the first few customers but later removed for some reason. Now the Galaxy Fold has taken too much time to release so we may see the game on the Fold on its launch date.
According to a Max Weinbach, a Samsung leaker, we can get information that the company is going to launch a device in July. Originally the device was planned to launch on 26th May in the US, but the date was postponed due to screen issues in the review process. After the screen breaking issue, Samsung has postponed the launching date without giving any fix date and focused on the improvement of the Galaxy Fold.
In order to raise the quality of the product, the company inserted the Galaxy Fold shield into the main body and minimized exposure of the folded area. Earlier, Samsung informed customers about the cancellation of pre-orders in case they failed to ship the device before 31st May. Whereas those who can wait for the next announcement had the option to keep their orders continue. Best Buy has already canceled all pre-orders due to unpredictability in launching date of the device.
Whereas the launching was planned in June, but the process of stabilization work was longer than planned. Now we have news that Galaxy Fold will be probably launched in July. We can expect that Samsung may release the device in South Korea before it’s an international release.

New Galaxy A30 June Update Adds Slow Motion Function
Samsung has released a new software update for Galaxy A30 smartphones in India, Thailand & Malaysia. The new firmware version is A305FDDU2ASE5 and counts 459 MB download size. This update brings Slow Motion function to the camera and improves compatibility with third-party apps. As per the changelog, it enhances compatibility with the Telegram app. The new piece of software comes with the June 2019 Android security patch. It is the first time Samsung has added the Slow Motion feature to the device and brings it closer to the other Galaxy A50 & Galaxy A70 smartphones.

In the international market, Galaxy A20 & Galaxy A20e are known as Galaxy Wide4 & Galaxy Jean2 (Via Sammobile) respectively. Last year, KT was selling Galaxy jean as an exclusive smartphone and now it is selling the second generation Jean2 in its stores & online. The smartphone is now available to purchase from today, June 4, for 2,53,000 ($214) won to get 32GB memory & 3GB RAM version. Currently, it is available in Black & White color options with Infinity V-display.
