    Finally, T-Mobile Released Night Mode Update for Galaxy Note 9

    After nearly 3 months of waiting T-Mobile has finally rolled out Night Mode update for its users in the US. The first smartphone to get the latest update is Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and we can say the other devices will get the update in a short period of time. The newest firmware N960USQU2CSGA is rolling out with Google’s July security patch and it counts 882MB in size. Everyone was hoping the Galaxy S10 series will be the first smartphones that will get a dedicated Night Mode update, but since T-Mobile has already dispatched the July update on all three S10 models so they will get in the next software version.

    The first notable feature into the update is dedicated Night Mode to the main camera, the function will provide more details to the night photography and will bring this last year’s model closer to the current models. The other QR Code scanner feature was added for multiple usages and Wi-Fi sharing is one of them. You can also get this feature from the Notification panel as it has added a shortcut.

    In the US, AT&T & Verizon have released this update on their Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9 & S9+ smartphones, and Sprint has released it for Galaxy S10 models. The international Samsung premium & some mid-range smartphones are already on the latest updates and some of them are having August security patch. If you are Galaxy Note 9 owner on T-Mobile then head to the Settings and check for the latest update. The update is rolling out via OTA & quite big so use your Wi-Fi connection to download it.

    The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 on AT&T is now receiving a new firmware version in the US. The latest update brings dedicated Night Mode & QR Code scanner features to the camera. The new firmware version N960USQU2CSGA is seeding on Note 9 with July Android security patch and it is 882MB in size. AT&T is the second carrier to receives this massive 882MB update. Internationally, Galaxy Note 9 has received all these features, this is time for US users to get it.

    The update also brings Advanced Messaging in the Samsung Messages app, for AT&T postpaid users. It will allow users to send messages up to 10MB and also able to see if person has read your messages. Right now, it is only available for postpaid customers, that they can send messages to other Advanced Messaging capable AT&T postpaid users.

    After a few hours, Samsung will unpack Galaxy Note 10 in the special event that gets an even better camera, probably with some advanced features. So its good Samsung is taking care of a year-old model by installing some advanced features, which changes photography on the phone. The dedicated Night Mode function to the camera is one of them and it improves picture quality in the night view and gives extra details. The QR Code scanner is another feature that users can use for Wi-Fi sharing & scan the codes. For the easy use, there is a shortcut in the notification panel for the QR scanner.

    AT&T is the first to brings a Night Mode update in the US on the Galaxy S10 series. Last week, Verizon rolled out Night Mode to Note 9 as well as to the Galaxy S9 & S9+ smartphones. T-Mobile, on the other hand, is still behind these all, that none-of its devices has received a Night Mode update. We may see it in the next T-Mobile update, that is, August update.     The Samsung Galaxy S9 & Galaxy Note 9 are the next premium devices in the US that are getting Night Mode update. The US carrier Verizon is releasing new firmware for the both smartphones. Last month, it has successfully issued update to Galaxy S10 series smartphones, and now last year’s two biggest models are tasting new camera features. The firmware version N960USQU2CSGA is seeding for Galaxy Note 9 and G965USQU6CSGF for Galaxy S9. Both smartphones are receiving Android’s July security patch. The QR Code scanner for camera is another feature seeded into the update and the shortcut is now added to the notification panel.

    The AT&T was the first carrier to bring Night Mode update to its Samsung Galaxy S10 series smartphones in the US. Later, Verizon & Sprint are next to release these features. T-Mobile users are still behind the race. None of T-Mobile’s devices have received dedicated Night Mode or QR Code scanner features. It has released July update for the devices so we can assume, T-Mobile will issue these functions in its next software update. If you are Verizon user then open Settings menu in your smartphone and check for update manually.

    Samsung has released the latest July update to its Galaxy A70 smartphone. The new software brings dedicated night mode and QR Code scanner features to the camera. These were the missing features on Galaxy A70 and now finally, Samsung brought them. The galaxy A50 was the first mid-range device to get both these features, in the June security update Galaxy A50 was lucky to get them. The latest firmware version A705GMDDU3ASG6 is now rolling out with Android’s July security patch that counts 367 MB in size. The software also improves the overall security of the smartphone.

    The interesting part of this update is, Samsung installed ‘Helo’ app on Galaxy A70, and users are not happy with it. Samsung never does such things, but recently, the company has installed many third-party apps on its range of smartphones. In the last Security update, Samsung pre-installed FabHotels, Likee, MobiKwik, Big Basket, and ShareChat apps on many devices. Most customers are unhappy with it; luckily, they can uninstall the apps. So if you have received such apps and you don’t want to use, then you can simply uninstall them.

    Galaxy A70 July Update

    In the previous firmware, Galaxy A70 has received many camera features. It has come up with Super Steady video mode, slow-mo, super slow-motion, focus mode and Beauty Video mode features so now it got the Night Mode function to improve picture quality.

    The firmware is now releasing in India and other countries will get it soon. To check the update manually, head to Settings > Software Update and then hit on the button. After Premium lines, Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy S9 & S9+, Galaxy Note 9 and budget smartphone Galaxy A50, it is another device to get the Night Mode function.

    Sprint is now releasing the June security patch for Samsung Galaxy S10+ smartphones in the US. The update brings the manual Night Mode function to the camera and QR Code scanning for Wi-Fi sharing. It is the third telecom operator to bring these features to the Galaxy S10+ device. Previously, AT&T & Verizon have issued both features to these Samsung devices with Night Mode function. Users have waited more than usual time to get these features. It is almost July end and users are receiving June Update. Even Galaxy S10 5G smartphone has received all these features along with July security patch.

    The new firmware version G975USQU2ASG8 is released which is 509MB in size. As per the report, only Galaxy S10+ is getting this update and other Galaxy S10 smartphones may join soon. In the other countries, all Galaxy S10 devices are receiving Google’s July security patch so US variants are behind the schedule to get new software.

    Samsung has firstly introduced Night Mode & QR Code functions to Galaxy S10 devices in the May update. Later, these features come to the Galaxy S9 duo, Note 9 & Galaxy A50 smartphones.     Samsung’s two budget smartphones are now tasting the latest Android Pie version with One UI flavor. The Galaxy J7 Duo & Galaxy Wide 2 are now receiving Android Pie update. The Galaxy J7 family member J7 Duo is receiving it in India and Galaxy Wide 2 getting new Pie version in South Korea, which only available in Samsung’s home country. The firmware version J720FDDU4BSG7 is seeding on Galaxy J7 Duo, and J727SKSU3CSG3 is for Wide 2. Both devices will be upgraded to Google’s July 2019 security patch after the update.

    The update brings Samsung’s latest One UI features with Night Mode, UI tweaks, navigation gestures and Digital wellbeing to the devices. The version for J7 Duo weighs 1270 MB in size and Wide 2 software weighs 885 MB in size. The software is now available via Over-the-Air and soon available in other countries. This time Samsung pushed another update with the July security patch that all means to improve the camera quality of the device. As per the changelog, the picture quality of the phone camera will improve. Samsung is seeding new firmware version A505FDDU2ASG4, which is 189.28MB in size and now rolling out in India.

    If you look closer to the changelog then there is no change in the May update & July update, but after the update many users witnessed better camera quality & picture quality on their Galaxy A50 phone. Along with camera improvement, the new software also takes care of Wi-Fi by stabilizing it and improved connectivity. In addition, QR Scanner shortcut is now added to the notification panel.

    Samsung expects the launch of its foldable flagship, Galaxy Fold in September. Originally the device was scheduled to launch on 26th April, but the screen breaking issues compelled the company to postpone its release. Due to this unexpected delay Best Buy and AT&T canceled all the pre-orders and refunded the money to customers.

    The September launch of the Galaxy Fold can lead to the competition with Huawei Mate X as it is also expected to launch in the same month.

    Company has made extensive evaluation and all the required improvements to the product in meantime. However, if launched as scheduled earlier, the Galaxy Fold would be the first foldable smartphone by major manufacturers.

    The issue of screen cracking was occurred due to peeling off the layer of plastic film on the phone’s internal display by reviewers. This happened because reviewers failed to understand the warning of not to peel off the layer and this lead to the crack in the display.

    Galaxy FoldIn other cases bulge occurred on the internal screen of the device because some debris entered the phone’s top hinge. Now Samsung has solved all these issues and improved the device with an extended protective layer to cover bezels.

    In order to prevent the debris from entering the device, protection caps have added on top as well the bottom side of the hinge. Also, the metal layers below the Infinity Flex Display have been included to reinforce the protection of the display.

    Further, the company has reduced the space between the body and the hinge of the device. Samsung is also working to optimize the more apps for the Galaxy Fold’s User Interface.

    As the company expects the launching of the Galaxy Fold in select markets in September, the more details will available close to the launching date. Customers have to wait until September to get this amazing and improved foldable smartphone.

    Samsung Galaxy Fold, the first foldable smartphone was supposed to launch in April, but due to display issues company postponed its release date. It’s almost three months, and still, we don’t have a re-launch date from Samsung. It now looks like we are close to getting a specific date that the company is almost ready with its foldable phone. The news coming from South Korea (TheElec) says, Samsung has passed all Galaxy Fold tests and now ready to hit the market. According to the news, the group of experts of industry professionals at Seoul National University and KAIST has tested the device and gave it a green signal.

    The source closer to the Samsung said, “ A few weeks ago, Samsung sent Galaxy Fold to this group to test it, and the result is Galaxy Fold passed in the final test.”

    Galaxy Fold users may get some relief when hearing this news. Those are the users who have spent $2000 on these products and still waiting in line, without knowing when will their gadget arrive. Last week, media persons found Galaxy Fold in public place and claimed Samsung is testing it to make it ready.

    The Galaxy M20 is Samsung’s one of the low-end lineup smartphone which firstly launched in India. Now Samsung has launched this smartphone in South Korea to target the budget customers. The decision will help the company to expand its market for Galaxy M20 as well as tap the potential of the Korean market for low-end smartphones.

    At present in pre-sale, the smartphone is available to purchase from online store Musha, the Aliexpress site in Korea. On Musha, it goes on sale for $186 for 3GB/32GB version & $215 for 64GB. It is available in Black & Blue color option though at the moment a 64GB version of the Blue color is not on sale.

    The device will go on sale from 15th July via Samsung’s online mall and other e-commerce platforms such as Gmarket and Auction. Galaxy M20 will sell for 22,000 won, and it is available in black charcoal color option, soon Blue version will join.
