This week, Samsung has announced opening a beta testing program for Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic. The One UI Watch beta will start in South Korea on June 2. Now, Samsung will also open the beta program in the US region. It has posted an official banner in the Samsung Members app with a signup form. Interested users can agree to the terms and sign up for the program. Users will see the “One UI Watch Beta Program” banner in the Members app with the instructions to follow.
Once complete all the instructions, users can download the beta version on their Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic smartwatches. Note that there is time to download firmware from the Samsung server. The company promised to start rolling out beta firmware on June 2. Also, the beta program will be eligible for Samsung smartphones, and non-Samsung smartphones will not be part of it. Yes, even if you have an Android smartphone rather than Samsung, you can’t apply to it.
Take note that, once you install One UI Watch beta firmware on your Galaxy Watch 4 series, then there is no way to go back. Unlike One UI 4 beta, it will not allow you to reverse back, confirms Beta Operation Manager. Galaxy Watch 4 special edition (All kinds of editions) will be out of the beta program.
