After adopting the Wear OS platform for its Galaxy Watches, Samsung has done a tremendous job. It has regularly updated Galaxy Watch 4 with new features and apps. Now, to take it one step further, Samsung has started rolling out the One UI Watch 4.5 beta version for Galaxy Watch 4 series. In the latest version, users can test new features before the others. The rollout is now started in the US & South Korea, and users can download it from Watch 4 Beta plugin.
The new beta has added fresh New Duo Edge/Box complications. It has also upgraded existing watch faces such as adding Dial, Index, adding background animals, characters, and colors. Now users can use dual SIM on their watch and notice a new UI in the contact section.
For the Notifications, it added Agif support. Users can now play Agifs on their watch when they receive them in incoming messages. The alarm setting has added date, alarm name, snooze, and more options.
The Samsung keyboard now supports in QWERTY layout to match with Gboard and other keypads. The keyboard also improved with handwriting, voice input, and gestures. Further, it has integrated the keyboard that supports STT & scribbles features.
In more support, it shows the additional information about apps like Gmail notification account name and group name or sender name in messaging apps. Further, the single Unicode emoticon will enlarge in the notification body.
Install the latest One UI Watch 4.5 beta on your watch, use it, and send errors to Samsung, so developers can fix them. With the beta firmware, Samsung may be preparing itself for Galaxy Watch 5 series launch. There is no official date for a stable version, but we could see it along with Galaxy Watch 5 series.
The update is now live in South Korea with the R8**XXU1ZVE7 firmware version, and it weighs 796MB in size. The One UI 4.5 beta version will roll out in the US in a matter of time.
