One UI 2.5 update Comes to Galaxy S9 Duo & Galaxy A51 - TizenHelp

Samsung is treating One UI 2.5 update to its Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ models. It is the last major update for these flagship smartphones of 2018. It is not the only device to get the latest version. The mid-range smartphone Galaxy A51 is also upgrading to the newer version with lots of new features. The latest firmware for Galaxy S9 & S9+ is rolling out in Germany and the firmware for Galaxy A51 has released in Russia. The Galaxy A51 will receive two more major Android OS updates, but Galaxy S9 users are not that lucky.

With a new piece of code, Galaxy S9 users will get the Wireless Dex feature, which allows them to screen mirroring their phones with Smart TVs, though Samsung recommends using Samsung Smart TVs. The camera department gets single take and pro mode features to make it more advanced and better at taking pictures. The updated Samsung keyboard will allow you to use it in split landscape mode, and the ability to search YouTube videos. Further, both devices get animoji & bitmojis for the rich conversations on social media.

One UI 2.5 Update

It also extends the functionality of the always-on display to show more details. Apart from that, the firmware brings October security patches and minor bug fixes. The firmware version A505FXXU4CTJ1 is rolling out for Galaxy A51 and the version G96*FXXUCFTJ2 is for Galaxy S9 & S9+. The users in Germany are getting One UI 2.5 in Germany and Galaxy A51 users in Russia. Both devices in the other countries will upgrade to the newer version in the coming days.
