Samsung has released an important update to its last year’s flagship phones – Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ to bring them closer to the Galaxy S10 series smartphones. The main feature into the latest software is ‘Night Mode,’ added to the camera, which was only available for Galaxy S10 models. The 574MB update comes with June 2019 android security patch along with another couple of features. The firmware G965FXXU5CSF2 is now rolling out on the Galaxy S9+ Exynos model & G960FXXU5CSF2 is available for Galaxy S9. The update is now available to download in Philipines, Thailand & Vietnam.
Apart from the Night Mode function, the performance of the camera has improved and added Background blur intensity bar for better selfies. You can adjust it with eight intensity levels while using the Live focus mode.
The new version has enhanced the usability of QR code reader and improved experience of messaging, contacts, and Gallery. Samsung also cared about the security of the device and improved it with the latest security patch.
Last time, Galaxy S9 & Galaxy S9+ received an Android Pie update, which was their big updates this year. Since then, we can say it is the important update users were expecting from the company. Even Samsung’s mid-range devices in Galaxy A series & Galaxy M series have received essential updates from time to time, so it was necessary for Samsung to release an important update for the Galaxy S9 & S9+ smartphones. You can check for the update from Settings and after that Install Update. The update may soon release for other Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ varients smartphones.
Thank you Marry for the tip.
