How to Use WhatsApp on Amazfit T-Rex 3, GTR 4 & GTS 4

From the first Amazfit GTR & GTS to the latest Amazfit T-Rex 3, GTR 4 & GTS 4 smartwatch lineup, Huami has come a long way. A few years back, the Amazfit series only copied the Mi Band series. I still remember there weren’t any changes in the features of these fitness bands and smartwatches. With time, it has evolved with new features like rich notifications, LTE support, and call answering with call alerts.

In the first-gen wearables, there is only an option to view incoming messages without any emojis, stickers, and other extra features. Now, in the latest iteration, you have more options from the company. You can get rich notifications, reply to the message with more options, delete it, and avoid it. Today’s topic is how to use WhatsApp on Amazfit T-Rex 3, GTR 4 & GTS 4.

WhatsApp on Amazfit
  1. Open the Zepp app
  2. Go to Profile
  3. After that, open My Devices
  4. There is a device named Amazfit GTR 4 or Amazfit GTS 4
  5. Click on your watch name
  6. Now scroll down and click on Notifications and Reminders
  7. Head to App Alerts
  8. Again, scroll down and find WhatsApp
  9. Finally, enable alerts to receive notifications

Note that once you read the message, it will disappear from that smartwatch. Further, it will store only 20 messages on the watch. When you receive more than 20, the old one will automatically disappear. Now you know how to get the benefit of your Amazfit smartwatches. In the future, we can expect Zepp to bring advanced communication options like the Galaxy Watch & Apple Watch.
