Samsung is now releasing a new firmware update for the Galaxy Watch Active & Galaxy Watch smartwatches. It activates the ‘Touch Bezel’ function on the Galaxy Watch Active on the smartwatch. The Galaxy Watch Active was the only Samsung smartwatch that launched without a touch bezel feature. Now with the new software update, Samsung is finally enabling the function to allow users to navigate using finger swipe around the bezel.
The latest firmware version R500XXU1CSK3 is rolling out in the US & South Korea, soon it will enter to the other regions. Apart from that, Samsung has introduced Galaxy Watch Active 2 features to the Galaxy Watch Active & Galaxy Watch models.
The software version R810XXU1CSK2 and R800XXU1CSK2 are now releasing on Galaxy Watch LTE & Wi-Fi models. The company has improved Bixby’s voice, which is now able to tell you to start exercise routines and time differences between the two cities. It now also supports British English, French, German, Italian & Spanish languages.
The watch face customization has now come to these two smartwatches. The users can now take a picture and turn it into the watch faces. Samsung has introduced 24 new sub-dials and complications along with 17 already available. You can now use new emojis on the smartwatch to make better conversation.
The Low Heart Rate feature is now supported on Galaxy Watch as a part of the heart monitoring suite. Samsung said the latest firmware version will dispatch region-by-region in the coming days and today the US & South Korean users are receiving it.
