The latest One UI 4 beta program has been successfully running on the Galaxy S21 series & Galaxy Z series. Now, the beta program will soon open for previous generation Galaxy devices. We have previously spotted Galaxy S20 series is getting ready for the next beta version, but the release date was still unknown. To make it solid proof, Galaxy S Manager has finally spoken about the Galaxy S20 series. He has mentioned in its latest answer post, the next Galaxy S20 update will be an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta version.
In the latest answer to the query, he hinted the firmware version number ends with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. Further, he mentioned the next update for Galaxy S20 will be based on the One UI 4 beta program. It means in the next few days or till mid-November, Samsung could open a beta program for Galaxy S20 devices. The answer is for South Korean users, where the S20 series is running on the October patch with the ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ build number. The other countries have already received the November security patch, but South Korea is still waiting for a new update.
As always, the One UI 4 beta program will first open in South Korea, and then sequentially, it will reach other countries. After the release of the beta version, in the same week or next week, other countries will receive it. To check for the beta program status, install the Samsung Members app, and see the official announcement notices. The stable version of Android 12 will be distributed by December for Galaxy S21 devices, and later, other Galaxy devices will join it.
