    Samsung Launched Expert RAW app with Advanced Camera Features

    In the demand of users, Samsung has introduced some advanced features to its flagship devices. Samsung has launched a new Expert RAW app today in the Galaxy Store for Galaxy S21 Ultra. Though it is in testing mode, it will soon come to more devices later. The new app will give power to an existing camera on the device to click better pictures and tweak them. It enables multi-frame-based raw shooting for all the Wide, Tele & Ultrawide lenses.

    In the dark areas, users can get more detailed images using the app, where it reduces noises, increase sharpness, and expand the dynamic range. Samsung promises users can perform high-quality, high dynamic range photos in multi-frame raw format for professional shooting and editing. To use the advanced camera features, download the Expert RAW app, and choose the lens for shooting & editing. It also allows you to import Export RAW profiles to the Lightroom app on the PC.

    The app supports linear DNG 16bit raw, lossless JPEG, HDR, professional mode functions like ISO, shutter speed, EV, manual focus, white balance, histogram, etc. It also gets Ultra Wide, Wide, 10x Tele & 3X Tele lens support. The app is currently available for Galaxy S21 Ultra. It only supports the Android 12 version and later. The Camera Manager has mentioned to launch it on Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy Tab S5E.

    Update (Refer to the image above): As we checked the Samsung community site, the moderator has removed the previous answer or it was a translation error. Now, in the answer to the Galaxy A user, he says Samsung is reviewing the app for some older models but didn’t mention any name.     Last week, we have spotted Galaxy Note 10 with One UI 4 beta build firmware in the home country. The Galaxy S10 users are also eagerly waiting for an official answer about the beta testing program for these flagship models. Now, as per the Galaxy S community manager, Samsung may conduct a beta program for Galaxy S10 & Note 10 in December. He further said, it is not confirmed yet, and the company still deciding to whether open One UI 4 beta for these devices.

    Meanwhile, our discovery has found out both devices running on the Android 12 version. That means, soon both devices will run on beta version or stable version. The stable release date for both devices is in January 2022 in almost all major countries. Further, we have spotted Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10+ 5G variants in the Geekbench score, which shows these devices are running on the Android 12 version.

    The Exynos-powered Galaxy S10 5G received a 794 single-core score & a 2028 multi-core score in Geekbench 5 score. Finally, as we said Samsung is discussing the beta opening matter with the internal beta operation team. The beta testing time this year is short, so the company may move to a stable version instead of a beta version. The stable version is currently available for Galaxy S21, and the beta program is live for Galaxy S20, Note 20 & Galaxy Z series devices.

This week, Samsung has already distributed the second One UI 4 beta update for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3. Now, today the company is seeding a third beta version for these foldable phones. It is a faster rollout than the Galaxy S21 devices, were receive beta updates every two weeks. Of course, Samsung is now rolling out a stable version, so it wants to make it fast.

    The firmware version ZUKG is now seeding on the Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 devices. The new beta comes with plenty of bug fixes to stabilize the code. It has fixed issues with the color pallet, screen brightness, and other problems. The company roadmap has revealed both devices will get a stable One UI 4 version next month.     The latest firmware spotted for Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ indicates Samsung is preparing the One Ui 4 Beta version. The Galaxy Note 10 series is the flagship model from 2019, and according to the Samsung official, it will get 3 major updates. At launch, it was running on the Android 10 version, so it is eligible for the Android 12 update. In the initial firmware building, the software version N971NKSU2ZUKD for Note 10 & N975NKSU2ZUKD for Note 10+ has come into the light.

    The One UI 4 beta program has started in mid-September and still running on new flagship models. The Galaxy S21 is now receiving stable Android 12 updates in many countries, but the remaining are still in beta testing. This week, Samsung has opened a beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 2 & Z Flip smartphones. After all these devices, the Galaxy Note 10 is the flagship model in the market. Probably in the waiting line for the beta version.

    The Beta Operation manager has officially announced it via a banner in the Samsung Members app. The users who want to join the beta program can open the Members app and signup for it. It is now open for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Flip & Flip 5G phones in South Korea. As it is now open in the home country, it will soon open in the other countries where Samsung has started beta program.

    After Brazil & South Korea, Samsung is now revealing its Android 12-based One UI rollout schedule in more countries. The US, India, the UAE & Nepal are now getting an official roadmap for the next major One UI 4 version. As per the schedule in the US, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 will receive the update in December, where the Galaxy S21 series have already started this month. The previous flagship models Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Note 10 series, Z Flip & Fold 2 will join it in January 2022.

    The US schedule mentions Galaxy A52 5G will be the first A series phone to get a new version in February. In tablets, Galaxy Tab S7 & S7 FE variants are the first in line to receive it in February next year. For India, the schedule will start from December this year with Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 devices. Interestingly, all the remaining older flagship phones after Galaxy S10 & Note 10 will get the update in January including foldable phones. The latest mid-range devices Galaxy A52, A52s, A72, and Galaxy Tab S7 variants are on February’s waiting list.

    The neighboring country Nepal also shares the same schedule as India, though there may be changes at the time of launching. The official schedule for middle-east also shares the same roadmap for the new flagship devices. The Galaxy S21, Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 are in December, and the last year’s flagship models are in January.     Recently, the South Korean beta Operation Manager via the Samsung Members app announced there won’t be any beta updates for Galaxy S21 series. He further hints the stable release of Android 12-based One UI 4 will start soon for these devices. Now, we have confirmed news from other Community Manager about the official Android 12 release. The Community Manager at Telus operator has officially confirmed stable Android 12 version for Galaxy S21 series will start from November 23 in Canada.

    The Telus Community Manager has posted an updated schedule on the forum page that clearly mentions the exact release date for the stable rollout. According to the updated post, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive the Android 12 version on November 23. In the new version, Samsung will seed revamped UI design, Material You-inspired color theme system, improved privacy & security, better performance. Further, it will get enhanced & ad-free stock apps like Samsung Pay, Health, Internet Browser & Keyboard.

    Only the Galaxy S21 devices have been listed in the schedule for the current month. In next month, more devices will join the new major update. The Galaxy S20 lineup, Note 20 series, Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 are also in the beta. They could also get promoted to a stable version somewhere in December. The schedule is only for Canada for now, and we may soon get an official roadmap from the company for other countries.

    At the end of last month, Samsung stopped recruiting new users in the One UI 4 Beta testing program for Galaxy S21 series. Now after the fourth beta version, the Beta Operation Manager has confirmed there won’t be any further beta updates for the Galaxy S21 series. In the user’s answer at the South Korean Samsung Community, he said, the company will not dispatch any new updates. The next major update for the Galaxy S21 devices will be the official or stable Android 12-based One UI 4 version.

    The Beta Operation manager further mentioned all the issues that occurred in the fourth beta will be solved, and after correction, the final version will be delivered. Note that, there may not be a fifth beta update for the device, but Samsung might release a hotfix update if it is necessary. The manager hasn’t revealed the exact schedule for the One UI 4 stable rollout. As per his previous posts, it could happen before the end of this month.

    There was chatter in between users about the new beta update when popular tipster Ice Universe claims about the 5th beta version. He claimed in the next beta Samsung will bring back the stretch overscroll effect. He may not be wrong after all, and the company may bring it in the stable version.     Update: As per the Beta Operation Manager, Samsung hasn’t announced One UI 4 Beta update for Galaxy S20 series yet. It looks like some lucky customers have received it accidentally or it may have leaked by Samsung team member. There is also chance Samsung may have pulled beta version for another date. As we checked on Reddit forum, more users are claiming they have received new beta version on their Galaxy S20 models. Also, some users from the UK received it too. We will inform you, when there is official announcement.

    Today, a few hours ago, we covered that the official Galaxy S Manager announced to release One UI 4 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series very soon. Now, the US users of the Unlocked Galaxy S20 series are getting an Android 12-based beta version. Without any ‘coming soon notice, Samsung has directly released a beta update in the US. We thought the update will first release in the home country, and later come to other countries, but Samsung first chose to roll out in the US.

    To apply for the new One UI 4 Beta program, open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. For now, it is open for Unlocked Variants, and soon it will come to other locked models. The stable version for the Galaxy S20 series may release in December says Galaxy S Manager at Samsung community South Korea. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3 are already inside the beta testing program, and soon they could get a stable Android 12 version.


    In the new update, along with Android 12 features, One UI 4 version Samsung has changed plenty of features like redesigned Home screen widgets, more options on the lock screen, Quick settings panel redesign, more features in Samsung keyboard, removed ads from stock apps, and more. Note that, it is an early version of the beta, so some features and apps may not work properly, so you should download the beta version if you are okay with it.

He has mentioned in its latest answer post, the next Galaxy S20 update will be an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta version.

    In the latest answer to the query, he hinted the firmware version number ends with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. Further, he mentioned the next update for Galaxy S20 will be based on the One UI 4 beta program. It means in the next few days or till mid-November, Samsung could open a beta program for Galaxy S20 devices. The answer is for South Korean users, where the S20 series is running on the October patch with the ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ build number. The other countries have already received the November security patch, but South Korea is still waiting for a new update.

    As always, the One UI 4 beta program will first open in South Korea, and then sequentially, it will reach other countries. After the release of the beta version, in the same week or next week, other countries will receive it. You can prevent the privacy of personal information, camera location access, microphone, and many other functions. In the Dynamic color or color palette, you can customize the color of a system based on the color of the wallpaper. You can apply colors to menus, buttons, backgrounds, and apps.

    As per the changelog, it solved the issue with some browsers that were not working. The app crashes when sharing images from the Gallary, and the app closes when a music file is executed has been solved.
