    Galaxy Watch 3 & Active 2 Receive Watch 4 Features in New Update

    As mentioned by Samsung in the latest post, it has now distributed a new update for Galaxy Watch Active 2 & Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatches. The new update brings a couple of features of the Galaxy Watch 4 along with some fresh watch faces. The firmware version R84*XXU1CUK2 is rolling out for Galaxy Watch 3 & firmware number R82*XXU1EUK2 is released for Galaxy Watch Active 2 models. The first thing we noticed in the latest version is the new 10 themes for the older Tizen watches.

    The fresh-looking Analog dashboard, Premium Analog, Cute Character, Big Number, Active, Endangered Animals, Color Duo, Simple Classic, and Animals watch faces are now available for previous watches. Along with it, Samsung has brought Group Challenge Widget on the watch.

    It has also improved calorie consumption tracking in HR. In fall detection, Samsung has added a Sensitivity option to detect more falls, though it has warned that some exercises may be detected as hard falls.

    New Galaxy Watch 3 Update

    Finally, in the Calendar, the synchronized period has been extended to 1 year from 3 months. Samsung has officially confirmed some of its Watch 4 features & watch faces will come to older Tizen watches including the original Galaxy Watch & Galaxy Watch Active.

    The remaining Tizen watches will soon receive the same treatment in the coming days. For the latest update, check the Galaxy Wearable app for any unfinished firmware updates. The update is released in South Korea, Germany & the US at the time of writing this article.

    Right after the Android 12 update for Galaxy S21 series, Samsung has released a second beta version for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 phones. Two weeks ago, both foldable phones have joined the beta testing program, and now receiving their second beta with plenty of fixes. The firmware version ‘ZUKA’ has been deployed to solve major issues and know bugs. As per the changelog, it has improved camera-related & lock screen-related behavior. The freeze, blur, and slowness issues have been tackled for the lock screen in the latest beta.

    The Wi-Fi automatic connection error and the screen not working at a 120Hz refresh rate have also been solved. The known bugs in rebooting the device and screen freeze are also on the radar to get a better experience. On the cover screen, users will get enhancement in incoming text overlapping, widgets, and GIF settings. The stuttering behavior has improved when sharing the batteries. Further, it has talked about known issues with the Camera app, Samsung Health app, and other services.

    Galaxy Z Flip 3 Beta Update

    In this version, Samsung has a list of errors that have been solved quickly, and it is a good sign to move to a stable version. The update is currently rolling out in the home country, and soon to enter other countries. As per the official roadmap in South Korea & Brazil, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 will receive a stable Android 12 update in December 2021.

    Samsung is finally starting to announce an official roadmap for Android 12-based One UI 4 update to its Galaxy devices. The first schedule has now been spotted in Brazil, where the company has announced when the Galaxy devices will receive a stable Android 12 update. Note that this schedule is for Brazil, so other devices in major countries may receive it before these dates or later these dates. Like Telus operator in Canada has announced Galaxy S21 will get Android 12 version on November 23.

    According to the post, the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 will first receive a major update in December. The Galaxy S21 series will be getting it in January along with Galaxy Z Flip, Fold, Fold 2 & Flip 3 devices. In February, Samsung will roll out a new version for its older flagship devices. The Galaxy S20, S20 FE, Note 20, Galaxy S10+, A52s, A72 & Tab S7 will join the squad in February. In March, Galaxy S10, S10e, S10 Lite, Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10 Lite, and A52 have been scheduled.

    Official Android 12 Roadmap

    The Galaxy M62 will be the first M series model to receive it in May. The new Tab S7 FE, Tab S6, Tab S6 Lite will get it in May along with Galaxy A51 & Galaxy M52. All the remaining mid-range smartphones, tablets, and older devices have been listed in June 2022 and later months.

    As we said earlier, the schedule is only for Brazil. If you look at the past, then these dates may change. The major countries like the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea, India & China may receive a totally different roadmap. Refer images below for exact schedule.

    Recently, the South Korean beta Operation Manager via the Samsung Members app announced there won’t be any beta updates for Galaxy S21 series. He further hints the stable release of Android 12-based One UI 4 will start soon for these devices. Now, we have confirmed news from other Community Manager about the official Android 12 release. The Community Manager at Telus operator has officially confirmed stable Android 12 version for Galaxy S21 series will start from November 23 in Canada.

    The Telus Community Manager has posted an updated schedule on the forum page that clearly mentions the exact release date for the stable rollout. According to the updated post, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ & Galaxy S21 Ultra will receive the Android 12 version on November 23. In the new version, Samsung will seed revamped UI design, Material You-inspired color theme system, improved privacy & security, better performance. Further, it will get enhanced & ad-free stock apps like Samsung Pay, Health, Internet Browser & Keyboard.

    Only the Galaxy S21 devices have been listed in the schedule for the current month. In next month, more devices will join the new major update. The Galaxy S20 lineup, Note 20 series, Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 are also in the beta. They could also get promoted to a stable version somewhere in December. The schedule is only for Canada for now, and we may soon get an official roadmap from the company for other countries.

    At the end of last month, Samsung stopped recruiting new users in the One UI 4 Beta testing program for Galaxy S21 series. Now after the fourth beta version, the Beta Operation Manager has confirmed there won’t be any further beta updates for the Galaxy S21 series. In the user’s answer at the South Korean Samsung Community, he said, the company will not dispatch any new updates. The next major update for the Galaxy S21 devices will be the official or stable Android 12-based One UI 4 version.

    The Beta Operation manager further mentioned all the issues that occurred in the fourth beta will be solved, and after correction, the final version will be delivered. Note that, there may not be a fifth beta update for the device, but Samsung might release a hotfix update if it is necessary. The manager hasn’t revealed the exact schedule for the One UI 4 stable rollout. As per his previous posts, it could happen before the end of this month.

    There was chatter in between users about the new beta update when popular tipster Ice Universe claims about the 5th beta version. He claimed in the next beta Samsung will bring back the stretch overscroll effect. He may not be wrong after all, and the company may bring it in the stable version. Samsung is also testing the One UI 4 beta version with Galaxy S20 series, Note 20 series, Z fold 3 & Z Flip 3 devices.

    The official Samsung Internet Browser app has recently launched for Wear OS-3 based Galaxy Watch 4 & Watch 4 Classic. At launching, the browser was only supported for Samsung watches, but now it has been updated for other Wear OS watches. As spotted by Reddit users, major Wear OS watches running on Wear OS 2 received the browser app. Upon that, some users claimed they hadn’t installed Samsung Browser on the paired smartphone. It is a good step by Samsung because Play Store for Wear OS doesn’t have choices when it comes to internet surfing.

    With the browser, users can visit any website to read news, Reddit, or other updates. Also, you can watch YouTube videos from the browser, and yes we have played it too for fun. Wear OS still lacks with YouTube app, so you can use it to watch videos on a tiny screen. It provides features like Add to bookmark, Zoom mode & Show on Phone. Google is by a default search engine that you can change from the settings. On the Galaxy Watch 4, you have to diagonal swipe from the either of the side to reach the corners of a webpage.

    Update: As per the Beta Operation Manager, Samsung hasn’t announced One UI 4 Beta update for Galaxy S20 series yet. It looks like some lucky customers have received it accidentally or it may have leaked by Samsung team member. There is also chance Samsung may have pulled beta version for another date. As we checked on Reddit forum, more users are claiming they have received new beta version on their Galaxy S20 models. Also, some users from the UK received it too. We will inform you, when there is official announcement.

    Today, a few hours ago, we covered that the official Galaxy S Manager announced to release One UI 4 Beta for the Galaxy S20 series very soon. Now, the US users of the Unlocked Galaxy S20 series are getting an Android 12-based beta version. Without any ‘coming soon notice, Samsung has directly released a beta update in the US. We thought the update will first release in the home country, and later come to other countries, but Samsung first chose to roll out in the US.

    To apply for the new One UI 4 Beta program, open the Samsung Members app on your Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. For now, it is open for Unlocked Variants, and soon it will come to other locked models. The stable version for the Galaxy S20 series may release in December says Galaxy S Manager at Samsung community South Korea. The Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3 are already inside the beta testing program, and soon they could get a stable Android 12 version.


    In the new update, along with Android 12 features, One UI 4 version Samsung has changed plenty of features like redesigned Home screen widgets, more options on the lock screen, Quick settings panel redesign, more features in Samsung keyboard, removed ads from stock apps, and more. Note that, it is an early version of the beta, so some features and apps may not work properly, so you should download the beta version if you are okay with it.

He has mentioned in its latest answer post, the next Galaxy S20 update will be an Android 12-based One UI 4 beta version.

    In the latest answer to the query, he hinted the firmware version number ends with ‘EUI4’ is the last to run on One UI 3.1 update. Further, he mentioned the next update for Galaxy S20 will be based on the One UI 4 beta program. It means in the next few days or till mid-November, Samsung could open a beta program for Galaxy S20 devices. The answer is for South Korean users, where the S20 series is running on the October patch with the ‘G98*NKSU1EUI4’ build number. The other countries have already received the November security patch, but South Korea is still waiting for a new update.

    As always, the One UI 4 beta program will first open in South Korea, and then sequentially, it will reach other countries. After the release of the beta version, in the same week or next week, other countries will receive it. To check for the beta program status, install the Samsung Members app, and see the official announcement notices. The stable version of Android 12 will be distributed by December for Galaxy S21 devices, and later, other Galaxy devices will join it.

It is now live in South Korea, and users can see the announcement banner in the Samsung Members app. The beta testing is open for both Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 smartphones. Unfortunately, the update is not for the Thom Browne Edition of both devices. The Beta Operation Manager has requested Thom Browne Edition users to not apply for the beta, and if you are, then you must cancel it.

    In the beta program, you can use & test new features of One UI 4 with Android 12 software in the early stage. The One UI 4 version brings extended privacy protection, where you can get extra security to stop privacy leakage. You can prevent the privacy of personal information, camera location access, microphone, and many other functions. In the Dynamic color or color palette, you can customize the color of a system based on the color of the wallpaper. You can apply colors to menus, buttons, backgrounds, and apps.

The official man behind Beta Operation Manager has today announced the beta program has ended for these smartphones. Further, he appealed to users to see the full version. It means in South Korea for now, the company will not recruit users in the beta program for Galaxy S21 series.

    Previously, the Galaxy S community moderator mentioned, the stable version of Android 12 will be delivered by December. Now, the Beta Operation Manager has given the same answer, so in the upcoming weeks, we can see the public version. Till now, Samsung has dispatched three beta updates for the One UI 4.0 version. The Beta Operation manager has today officially announced, One UI 4 beta program will soon open for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Z Flip 3 devices. As per the previous sources, the Galaxy S20 series was closer to getting the new beta program, though the company is opening it for foldable phones. Both Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3 are 2021’s flagship devices from Samsung, after Galaxy S21 series.

    At launching, new Galaxy Z series devices have received One UI 3.1 version out of the box. And now, both phones are going to join another major version through beta testing. Samsung has started a beta program in September with the Galaxy S21 lineup. The smartphone now is on its third beta update and recently received a hotfix update. As per the Galaxy S moderator in Samsung Community, the company may release a stable Android 12-based One UI 4.0 update by December this year.

The latest beta has been dispatched to stabilize new software by enhancing various services. Further, the company has redesigned the Weather app with new animations. The ads inside the app have already gone, and the empty screen has been taken by cool animations. If you are a regular user of the Samsung Weather’s real-time report, then you should check it out.

    The stabilization code has been applied all over the place. The menus were partially untranslated, call-text termination, keyboard shortcuts, calling Bixby not working on the lock screen, UI force close issue have been fixed. It has applied a new pet lightning effect to the camera. The voice command feature that hasn’t recognized some commands in-camera has finally been fixed.
