Amazfit GTS 4, GTS 4 Mini, GTR 4 & GTR 4 Pro Coming Later This Year
Zepp Health has confirmed to launch the fourth-gen Amazfit GT series smartwatches later this year. The company has officially announced it at its ‘May 2022 Investor Call’ event. Further, the Mini version of Amazfit GTS 4 has passed FCC certification, thanks to the Gadgets & Wearables website. Last year, Zepp Health skipped GTS 3 Mini variant from the launch, but now the company may have decided to launch it.
Apart from the Mini version, the regular Amazfit GTS 4, Amazfit GTR 4 & GTR 4 Pro smartwatches will be coming. The Pro variant in the Amazfit GT line has added last year, and this year to company wants to continue it.
Why not, finally, the GTR Pro version is most advanced than the other models. The Pro variant also comes with third-party app support. The company is slowly introducing new apps in the store, and new developers are launching their apps and watch faces.

Furthermore, we could see the next version of Zepp OS for the watches. From the previous series, Zepp Health has introduced a new Zepp OS. This year, it may come with new features, improvements, and better support.

Samsung Hints Galaxy Fit 3 Launch Date
In the second half of this year, Samsung will launch its flagship devices and wearables. In the list of all those products, one product is missing, and that is Galaxy Fit 3. In the past, the company has launched the Galaxy Fit series along with its flagship models, but that didn’t happen since 2021. It’s been two years since Samsung launched the second-generation Galaxy Fit 2 fitness tracker. Since then, many users are waiting for the next Galaxy Fit 3.
Finally, looks like we have got the answer about when Samsung will launch Galaxy Fit 3. Yes, the official community manager for galaxy Fit has answered it. On the question post, when a user asked a question, then the other user answered it. Later, the manager quoted the answer and accepted it as an accurate answer.
As we know, community managers only accept answers if they are satisfied or accurate. It means we could see Galaxy Fit 3 in the second half of this year or early next year. We guess Samsung might launch it with the Galaxy S23 series phones.

Galaxy Buds Pro 2 may Launch Soon, Color Options Leaked
Recently, a rumor claimed Galaxy Buds Pro 2 will not launch alongside Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 devices. Now, a new leak has come ahead and revealed more information about the next Samsung earbuds. The new tipster Max Jambor claims the mass production of Galaxy Buds Pro 2 has started, and within a few weeks, the company could announce it. It hints the upcoming earbuds could be unveiled earlier than the August event.
Another tipster Snoopytech has mentioned that the new earbuds will have three color options. Those color variants are Zenith Bora Purple, Zenith White, and Zenith Graphite. It has also been reported that the Buds Pro 2 ends up in the store much before the next foldable phones and Galaxy Watch 5.
Further, it claims the earbuds will launch in early July in major countries. It is hard to believe for now because Samsung always launches its earbuds along with other flagship devices. If we go with these two sources, then Samsung might have something different this time.

For now, there are no other details about the next earbuds. We can expect better audio quality with ANC performance, longer battery life, improved audio 360, and a newer design. If Samsung brings new features, then they will be always welcomed on the earbuds.

One UI 5 to Bring Faster Animation Speed & Improved UI Design
The new sources for One UI 5.0 claim that the upcoming software version will focus on the essential part. The part which is important for users and enhances the user experience. With the next One UI 5.0, Samsung will increase the animation speed, optimize the overall service, and improve UI design. The company is said to work in these areas to give top-notch services. Fenix 7 Gets Stable 8.35 Software Update with Plenty of Fixes
Fenix 7 series smartwatches are now promoted to the latest 8.35 firmware version. It is the stable version of the previously released 8.35 beta version. Now, after making all the features stable and improving some of them, Garmin has rolled out a new update. Earlier this week, the Fenix 6 series also received a 21.80 stable update, and today, the Epix Gen 2 gets a stable 8.35 version with the same changelog. For Fenix 7 series, the bug fixing list is larger than before.
In a new update, there are three added functions. It has added the ability to delete Strength workouts from the device. The other is the ability to add workout-related ‘interval’ fields to the data screen. The third feature is feedback for installation angle reset for bike power meters. Apart from that, the fixes have come to Connect IQ, Health activity, Wi-Fi sync issue, golf app, and more. You can read about the full changelog below.

Early Update for OHO+ Gets Android 12L/One UI 4.1.1 Support
A few days back, Community Moderator at the South Korean Samsung community revealed the One UI 4.1.1 version. He further mentioned the Wonderland module will get improved in the next version. Now, one more Good Lock module, One Hand Operation+ is ready to get One UI 4.1.1 support. Further, it revealed the next One UI 4.1.1 update will be based on the Android 12L software. It means, Samsung will add Android 12L’s functions into the next One UI version.
We all know like the One UI 3.1.1 version, the next 4.1.1 version is also dedicated to Galaxy foldable phones and Galaxy tablets. It doesn’t mean the company will not bring any features to the other devices. The flagship and other supported Galaxy smartphones will also get some of the functions from the One UI 4.1.1 version.
The next update for One Hand Operation+ will also be available for other supported devices. In the changelog, it mentions the module will get a new “Widgets pop-up” function. Finally, the company has mentioned bug fixes and stability improvements for the module.
The latest version 5.3.31 for One Hand Operation+ is now available to download in Galaxy Store.
As we know, the next Android 12L and One UI 4.1.1 software are specifically built for phablets and tablets. There is a chance we are near to seeing them on upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 foldable phones. Later this year, Samsung will bring them to other Galaxy tablets and previous foldable phones.

New Galaxy S22 Update Improves Camera Quality & App Security
As promised at the end of May, Samsung is now releasing a major update for Galaxy S22 series smartphones. In the latest update, Samsung has focused on camera quality, app security, and touch performance. Many users have complained about quality issues with a camera while taking images in different scenarios in the past. The company has one by one tried to solve them all. Further, it has added new settings in the ‘Apps from Unknown Sources’ section. Now users can disallow all malicious apps from the settings.
The device’s improved security from malicious apps has been dispatched for Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S21 & Galaxy foldable phones. Now it has been seeded on Galaxy S22 series. It has also upgraded touch firmware to its latest version, so you should get better performance.

Samsung Pass & Digital Car Key Merged with Samsung Pay
Samsung has today announced to integrate its Samsung Pass into Samsung Pay. Now users can only access Samsung Pass from the Samsung Pay app. It will not hurt any existing features, and users can use them via the Pay app. The integration will take effect from the Samsung Pay app version 5.0 that you can install from Galaxy Store. The users who don’t use the Samsung Pay app, can for now use a separate Samsung Pass app.
After the integration, all the Samsung services like digital passes, cards, and smart locks will be accessible from Samsung Pay. The app will be supported for Android 9 or above version. We are not sure if it is called Samsung Wallet, or if there is another separate app for it. All the cards are stored here, but the company didn’t call it the Wallet app.
In Mexico, Samsung has separately launched Members Wallet app with all the services. Also with Samsung Pay, now users can send and receive money from the Blockchain app. Digital Key support has come to merge apps, and users can control their cars. Users can lock, unlock, open the trunk, find the car, start the engine, and open the sunroof.
The app will let you store movie tickets and travel tickets in your home country. It has listed supported companies to use these tickets with. The VP of Digital Life Team, MX Division Samsung, Jini Han says it is the biggest update for Samsung Pay. It will beneficial for all the users in everyday life.
For some time, the company will keep supporting the separate Pass app, but soon it will end the support. It is the same with the Samsung Pay app. If the users don’t want to merge both apps, then they should avoid the latest update. Mi Band 7 Global Launch is Near as Users Accidentally receive it
Xiaomi will soon launch Mi Band 7 global variant outside China. The official launch date is not disclosed yet by the company, but we think we are near to getting it. Now to make it solid proof, some users on Reddit have claimed they have received Xiaomi Band 7 global version by the company. As per users, they had ordered a Chinese variant of Mi Band 7, but the company accidentally delivered a global version.

The mistake could be from AliExpress, or Xiaomi itself, but the user is telling truth. He is confident about Band 7 as he shared feedback on the product with other users.

Samsung Team Again Uses iPhone Image for Promotion
In the past, some Samsung employees have used iPhone models to promote Samsung devices, and it created major debates on the internet. Samsung team member has done it again to promote their services. In South Korea, the Community Manager at the Samsung Members app has posted a banner that created controversy. To promote a Samsung service, the official member has used an iPhone image.
Today, the company was promoting its services for Samsung themes. The banner was placed on the main screen of the official Members app, so everyone should see it. Everything was perfect until some users noticed the iPhone image on the Samsung banner.
Looking at the shared image, I can confirm it is iPhone X or iPhone 11 series model. Now, many users are asking a question to Samsung employees are they really like Samsung phones. Fenix 6 Series Gets Stable 21.80 Update with Major Fixes
Garmin released software update 21.00 for Fenix 6 series smartwatches in May. It came with plenty of new features, but that didn’t go well for many users. After the installation, users were facing major issues like faster battery draining. Now to fix all those issues, Garmin has rolled out a stable 21.80 firmware update for Fenix 6 series watches. It has fixed all the issues that users complained about in the official forum.
The software is released to tackle all the known issues, and you can see it in the official changelog. There is nothing new in the version but a bunch of fixes for the watches. As per changelog, the problem where “battery in Days” would report 0 in connect IQ report has been fixed.
Here, Garmin tries to say users only see battery decline in Connect IQ graph, but in reality, there wasn’t an issue. The users say a different story about battery issues. In the end, it is good they have fixed it. You can share your battery usage if there is an improvement in this case.

- Fixed an issue where Run/Walk/Idle total time didn’t equal Total Time displayed on watch/Garmin Connect (now all times when totaled should match Total Time).
- Fixed an issue where a user could not delete a Strength workout from the device.

- Fixed issue in the Jumpmaster activity where the listed elevation data would not properly update.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent the device from booting up properly.
- Fixed a possible crash when completing Strength workouts that didn’t have any rep counting steps.
- Fixed issue where “Battery in Days” would report 0 in Connect IQ apps.
- Other minor improvements and bug fixes.
The firmware update is available to download from the official Garmin forum. Initially, it is available to install on 10% of users. The remaining users will soon receive the update in the coming days.

Fossil Gen 6 Wear OS 3 Update will Release by End on June
The Twitter account of Fossil mentions, that the new Fossil Gen 6 smartwatch will receive Wear OS 3 at this month’s end. They have not revealed any exact date but speculated it for June end or early July. Previously, the same team has mentioned the major Wear OS 3 update for Gen 6 will release in the second half. Again it has been claimed that the rollout will begin as per promised. Further, it mentions Fossil Gen 5 will also have the same update later this year.
For Gen 5, the update may release in mid-summer or at the end of summer. We are not sure about the Fossil Gen smartwatch, but we hope Fossil should give it more power and a polished look.
It is almost one year since Wear OS 3 firmware update for Galaxy Watch 4 series. Since then, it is the only device to enjoy all the goodies and exclusive services of Google’s software. The Samsung smartwatches are now having Wear OS 3.5 beta update.

Further, many app developers have exclusively launched their apps for Wear OS 3. It is including Strava which has terminated support for Wear OS 2 version. It is good if both Fossil & Google work faster on their software updates.
Along with Fossil watches, Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 & Pro 3 Ultra will receive Wear OS 3 version later this year. With the next Galaxy Watch 5, Samsung will introduce a new software version or the stable version of the current One UI 4.5 beta version. Samsung may announce it as a Wear OS 4.0 with forward-looking features.

Samsung Confirmed Release of One UI 4.1.1 Version
The GoodLock moderator at the Samsung Community site in South Korea has today confirmed the One UI 4.1.1 version. It is another year when Samsung will not release a major One UI update. The moderator has answered a question of users who are facing issues with the Wonderland module. In the answer, he confirmed the fix will come in One UI 4.1.1 firmware. The update may be scheduled to launch in August with the next foldable phones.
The One UI 4.1.1 hints we will see a couple of new features and some changes to the existing features. Last year too, the company released One UI 3.1.1 software for Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Flip 3. Later, it was distributed to other Galaxy tablets.
If we go with the last year, then after foldable phones it will only release for selected Galaxy tablets. The other flagship models like Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy S22 series & Galaxy Note 20 series will receive some of its features, but their software versions will not change.
The upcoming One UI 4.1.1 software features will be disclosed in Galaxy Z Fold 4 & Flip 4 smartphones. At this moment, we haven’t received any breaking features, but with time, more leakers will find them.
Currently, Samsung is busy rolling out the One UI 4.1 version for the remaining smartphones. Further, it has conducted One UI Watch 4.5 version for Galaxy Watch 4 series. There is also news Samsung will open the Android 13 One UI 5 beta program in July.
