    The automatic workout detection is faster than before, and it is helpful with three sports – running, rowing machine & elliptical. It was the main concern of users about slow workout detection, especially in running & walking. We have to now use it to tell exactly how fast it will detect our exercises.

    Original Article Follows: Samsung has finally started to roll out One UI 3.0 Beta update for its last year flagship phones – Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e & S10 5G models. As promised by Beta Operation Manager last week, Samsung has opened it in the UK, India, and in the home country. Today, when the Galaxy Fold 2 Beta version suspended due to serious bugs, many users were thinking, the company might postpone it again, but finally, Samsung opened it. With the update, users can use Android 11-based One UI 3.0 features. You can use the beta version and send the experience to the official team.

    The Galaxy S10 series is the last to receive the One UI 3.0 Beta version. Before it, Samsung has pushed beta for the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Z Flip & Galaxy Z Fold 2 devices. Though the Z Fold 2 received it today, it has postponed for a later day because of the errors. In South Korea, the users on KT, SKT, LG U+, unlocked models, and in India, all unlocked devices can apply for a beta program. Till now, none of the users have complained anything about this beta version.

Though Samsung has released the first beta version for previous flagship devices, since then, they haven’t received any other update. Now, the official Beta Operation manager in South Korea mentions, the second beta for Galaxy S10 has been delayed, and the team will try to release it next week. Today, in the answer to the question, the beta manager has answered users.

    It is not the only lineup that has been postponed. The third beta update for Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ also has been postponed to the next week. Luckily, Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in South Korea have received a second update this week, so the overseas users will get it soon. The main reason for the firmware delay is some issues in the Samsung Pass, and the official team is working on it. There may be some other issues that the support team hasn’t mentioned, so we think the rollout will begin after the fixes.

    As the company promised last month, it has released its official roadmap for the Android 11 update. The update will start from this month and it will continue till June next year. The first lucky device to get the version is from the Galaxy S20 family. Samsung has already started working on the firmware for Galaxy S20, S20+ & S20 Ultra models. Later, the Galaxy Note 10 series, Galaxy Note 20 series, and the Galaxy S10 lineup (Not included S10e) will receive Android 11 with One UI 3.0 in January.

    The other flagships, Galaxy Z & Z Fold 2 have scheduled in January, and the predecessor Galaxy Fold will be getting it in February. In the Lite versions – Galaxy S10 Lite will get the update in January 2021, but the Note 10 Lite will receive it in March next year. Now, coming to the Galaxy A series & Galaxy M series, the first devices to get Android 11 are Galaxy M21, Galaxy M31 & Galaxy A51, which are scheduled for March. As per the current schedule, none of the Galaxy A series or M series devices will receive the version before March.

    Now coming to the tablets, Galaxy Tab S7 has the date of the next March, and then the other tablets will follow. We have to take it in mind that this roadmap is for Egypt, so we could see an earlier release for the Galaxy A & M lineup in the Indian roadmap of Samsung. Also, in the flagship segments, some countries may get the version earlier and some will see some delays.     The Android 11-based One UI 3.0 beta update is now rolling out for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in the home country. The update was initially started on November 25, but is was later postponed when most of the customers found error in it. The firmware version F916NKSU1ZTKD is now rolling out in South Korea with all the known fixes. It also enhanced overall experience by trying to minimises the risks. The users who installed the hotfix version mentioned there is no issue with the unlocking and not found any other issues.

    In the previous version or in the first rollout, the serious bug in the code was not letting any users unlock their phones. Later, Beta Operation Manager requested users to remove the passcode or any kind of other security option and install the beta. Most of the users preferred to stay away from the first beta version and chose to participate in the fixed update. Now, all the users can install the update as most of the users says it is safe to install.

    Galaxy Z Fold 2 Beta Update

    This week, Samsung has officially closes beta updates for Galaxy Note 20 lineup. The article on Samsung Malaysia website has already hinted that the stable version will start from December. It means, soon we can see the official roadmap and the eligible device list. We don’t know exact when Galaxy Z Fold 2 or Galaxy Z Flip will get stable Android 11 version, but in the line, Galaxy S20 & Note 20 series will be the first.

    Samsung has today released & then suspended Android 11-based One UI 3.0 Beta update for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. Now, as per the initial users who installed the beta version on their foldable phone has found a serious issue. The major bugs came with a firmware is not letting any users enter the home screen. The bugs is not taking any password, fingerprint or other form of unlocking method. It is not the problem with one or two users, but almost all the users have complained it on the official Samsung Member app.

    Many users on the Samsung community have shared the posts and the images regarding the issue. Previously, Samsung had postponed One UI 3.0 Beta program for Galaxy S10, Z Flip & Fold 2 because it found many major issues with the Note 10 Beta version. Later this week, Samsung confirmed to fix all those problems and released second beta for Note 10 series and the first beta for Galaxy Z Flip. Now, again the new bug found in the code has forced the company to postpone the beta firmware for Galaxy Z Fold 2.

    Galaxy Z Fold 2 Beta Error

    The beta program for Galaxy S10 lineup, which supposed to start this afternoon in South Korea may release on the tine. The Z Flip has yesterday received this beta update, so the Z Fold 2 has become second foldable phone to taste it. The update is now rolling out in South Korea for the Z Fold 2 5G model. The official Beta Operation Manager has yet to comment on this matter, so I will update the post, when I hear more from the team.

    Samsung has officially declared One UI 3.0 Beta program has closed for Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra smartphones. It is the indication of the stable version is near to launch. The Galaxy Note 20 series has received third beta version in the home country when the company announced the closing of the beta program. The Galaxy S20 users still not received any such announcement but I think, it may happen today or tomorrow. Since the beginning of October, Samsung has been opened One UI 3.0 Beta program for many flagship devices. Now, it is a perfect time to release the stable Android 11 version for all the users.

    It is not confirmed when the One UI 3.0 stable version will rollout for end users. The official Galaxy Note & Fold Moderator gives hint that the last beta version was near to stable version. Further, he added the company is now giving final hands on the code and reviewing small details. The Samsung Malaysia website has already confirmed stable Android 11 version could release at the end of November or in the beginning of December.

    Galaxy Note 20 Beta Program Closed

    The answer by the official Beta Operation Manager is for South Korean users, so the users in the other countries may receive another beta updates for the Note 20 series. I guess, when Samsung rollout the latest version, then Galaxy S20 series will receive it first, and later it could come to Galaxy Note 20 lineup.

    The previous Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Flip & Z Fold 2 are still enjoying beta versions, so company might not end soon beta program for those devices. When I receive any official date for stable version, I will inform you, so stay tuned.

    Samsung has finally started to roll out Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta version for the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone. It became the first foldable phone to receive the latest beta firmware, and that is for both 5G & LTE variants. Users can expect all the features of new Android 11 version in the latest software, along with Samsung’s One UI 3.0 flavour. The update is now open in South Korea and soon we can expect it in the other countries.

    Two weeks ago, Samsung had stopped rolling out beta firmware for the older flagships, along with the Z Flip & Z Fold 2 devices. The major issues were found in the code that causes faster battery consumption, app crashes and S Pen issues. It is the reason Samsung postponed every upcoming beta roll outs, even when Z Flip was started to getting it.

    Now, the Beta Operation Manager has confirmed that company has fixed all those issues and the remaining devices will get the One UI 3.0 beta firmwares in this week. Those remaining devices are Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e and Galaxy Z Fold 2. The Galaxy Note Moderator has also confirmed that Galaxy Note 10 series will get second beta update for One UI 3.0 in the current week.

It is confirmed by the Beta Operation Manager at South Korean Samsung community platform. The Galaxy S20 & Note 20 series devices are enjoying beta updates since few weeks, where these remaining devices are still waiting for it. The Galaxy Note 10 & Galaxy Z Flip had received One UI 3.0 beta version, but that didn’t go well.

    The new beta version for previous flagship phones had postponed due to the serious issues like faster battery drain, app crashes and problems with S Pen. After noticing these big issues, Samsung pulled it back and requested users to not install it. The official Galaxy Note_Fold moderator has also confirmed the faster battery drain issue in the user’s reply. He further says, the company will solve these issues in the 2nd beta version for Galaxy Note 10 and try to provide more stability. Here is what both representatives say about this matter.

    Now, the Beta Operation Manager mentions, the One UI 3.0 beta for Galaxy S10, S10+ & S10e may launch early next week, so that means we could see the update on Monday or Tuesday. It is not clear later which device will get the update first. I guess, Galaxy Z Flip will get it first as they have already received it. The firmware version A507FNXXU5CTK3 for the Galaxy A50s & version A705FNXXUSCTK4 is rolling out for Galaxy A70. With the newest version, Samsung has also released Android’s November security patch to provide enhanced security.

    In the One UI 2.5 update, users can use a split keyboard in landscape mode and Bitmoji stickers on the Always-on Display mode. It is now easy to ask for a Wi-Fi password in the Wi-Fi zone, and the new ‘Request Password’ button has been added to the device. It makes it easy to add or delete the languages in the Input languages in Samsung Keyboard. Apart from that, users will get SOS functionalities for Messages, enhanced camera features, and Google’s navigation gestures for third-party apps.

    The update for Galaxy A50s (Via SamMobile) is now rolling out in Vietnam, and the Galaxy A70 is getting the One UI 2.5 version in Ukraine. The users in other countries will see this version on their phones in the coming days. We also think, in the next few weeks, more Galaxy A series & Galaxy M series smartphones of 2019 will get One UI 2.5 update.

This week, it supposed to release on other flagship smartphones, but it didn’t happen. As per the Beta Operation Manager at South Korean Samsung Community, there were some serious issues in the One UI 3.0 Beta version of the Galaxy Note 10. It is the reason, the company has postponed beta updates for Galaxy S10, S10+, S10e, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Fold 2, and their 5G variants. As the beta manager stated, it has postponed until all the issues fixed.

    It is common to have some issues in the beta version, but it looks like the issues are serious to handle for end users. Actually, yesterday Samsung has released One UI 3.0 beta version for Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but it later pulled back. Some users have even successfully installed it on their foldable Z Flip phone. Now, the official banner has posted on the Community app with the ‘Coming Soon’ sign. The Beta Manager has even requested users to not install this version till they fix the issue.     As per the users on Samsung Community, the battery drain is the main issue most of the users are facing on Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ devices. Some users are also facing app crashes while using them. The Beta Manager haven’t mentioned next release date, but I think they may rollout out it in this week. Once the company starts roll out of Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta, all these devices will get it in the sequence, and the Z Flip 5G might be the first one.

    The FCC database has revealed Huami is preparing to launch Amazfit GTR 2e & GTS 2e smartwatches in the coming weeks or months. Huami has already launched next-gen Amazfit GTR 2 & GTS 2 smartwatches in Europe, and soon both will come to the India & in other major markets. Now, the new FCC listing reveals the company is going to launch new versions of both these wearables. For your information, last week we have also spotted Amazfit GTS 2 Mini version on the same database, so there are more than one version to come. We haven’t spotted GTR 2 Mini, so we can’t say anything about it for now.

    Coming back to Amazfit GTR 2e & GTS 2e, model number A2021 is assigned to GTS 2e and it has listed in FCC ID ‘2AC8UA2021‘. The Amazfit GTR 2e has model number ‘A2023’ and it has listed in FCC ID ‘2AC8UA2023‘. The leaked image on the FCC reveals the watches could also get Wi-Fi option to connect to the internet. The GTR 2 & GTS 2 has launched with lots of forward-looking functions, so we could also see plenty of them on the watches.

    From the leak, we can say the Amazfit GTR 2e will get circular display like its predecessor, and the Amazfit GTS 2e will launch with rectangular design like as GTS & GTS 2. Huami will be quite busy to launch its next smartwatches. On November 17, the company will launch Zepp Z smartwatch with premium features. Later, we could see Amazfit GTS 2e, GTS 2 Mini and GTR 2e lineups in the market. We haven’t got any launch date for these wearables, so stay in touch to receive the announcement dates.

    Galaxy M31s, the successor smartphone of Galaxy M31, is now receiving Alt Z Life features in the major One UI 2.5 software rollout. The main aim of Alt Z Life is to provide an extra layer of security to the device. Along with it, the smartphone is getting the latest One UI 2.5 features. All the features come to the device in the latest firmware version M317FXXU2BTK1, and the software is 784MB in size. It has also upgraded to Android’s November security patch.

    Samsung has seeded Alt Z Life to the Galaxy A51 & Galaxy A71 smartphones, and now it has come to another mid-range smartphone – Galaxy M31s. In the One UI 2.5 version, it gets Bitmoji stickers on Always-on Display, split-screen keyboard in landscape mode, and SOS location-sharing messages every 30 minutes for 24 hours. Further, it has improved the camera department, and the enhancements come to Pro mode, AR emoji, AR doodle, Smartscan, and scene optimizer.

    In the Alt Z Life, the company has added a Secure folder. It gives the ability to switch between private or public modes for apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, Gallery, Camera, etc. You can also hide your private images from the public eye and the Samsung AI will suggest to you which image you should hide. The firmware update is currently rolling out in India, and you can check it from Settings > Software Update.

    Samsung is now rolling out a new firmware update R820XXU1CTJ5 for Galaxy Watch Active 2 that brings one more premium feature of Galaxy Watch 3. With the latest update, Active 2 users can now use voice guidance service during the exercises. It is the new function that was until now exclusive to a newer model. The Active 2 users can listen to voice support during the workout through the connected Bluetooth headsets or earbuds. In the voice guidance, it will also tell the walked distance and heart rate while performing automatic running and biking workouts.

    While exercise you can set a goal and this running coach will tell you how you are performing. It also guides you about whether you have to slow down or need to run fast to reach the target. Furthermore, it encourages you to complete your daily goals. Samsung has done great work by bringing this function to all its Active 2 users. Even it is good that the company is offering it free for everyone when the Fitbit ask users to pay for their Coach premium subscription to unlock it. In the premium segment, Apple, Fitbit, or Garmin don’t offer this service to the users.

    Further, the update brings stability to the overall functions and squashed minor bugs. Samsung has already brought fall detection, VO2 max, advanced running analysis, AR Emoji, Bitmoji, and scroll capture features to the Active 2.
