    Samsung has dispatched a new software update for its latest Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch. The update improves the measurement of the blood oxygen saturation feature to enhance its quality and provides stability. The firmware version R840XXU1BTK1 is now rolling out in Samsung’s home country. In the recent update, Samsung has already provided stability to many health functions including SpO2, VO2 Max, Sleep Score & stress management. Now, the company is again stabilizing the SpO2 measurement to get fast & accurate results from Watch 3.

    To the surprise, the changelog mentions it has added voice guidance support to the exercises. The voice guidance support has been unlocked for the many users on Galaxy Watch 3, and even Samsung has brought it to Galaxy Watch Active 2. For the information, the voice coach can give you health tips from time to time by using the Bluetooth headset. It even guides you about cumulative data and heart rate to the automatic section of running/biking exercise. It also works when you connect the headset with your phone.

    Galaxy Watch 3 SpO2 Update

    The voice guidance support is best for runners or fitness-centric users. Finally, the firmware squashes minor bugs to provide more stability to the wearable. The update is now rolling in South Korea, and soon you will see it on your Galaxy Watch 3. Currently, it is available for the Bluetooth version.     Samsung has today released a new software update for Galaxy S20 series smartphones that bring One UI 2.5 version. The all three 5G Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra will get the new version. With the update, users can use some exclusive functions of Galaxy Note 20 on their flagship phone. The firmware version G98*BXXU4BTH5 is rolling out in most of the European countries. When we write this article, it is available in Germany, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands & Hungary. The other countries will get the firmware in the coming days.

    At this moment, the LTE variants of the Galaxy S20 are not getting this version, but soon, they will join the force. As per the changelog, the update comes with Wireless DeX enhanced Pro Video Mode, the ability to change Single Take duration, and Android 10 navigation gesture in third-party launchers. Along with it, the users will see little improvements in the performance, and the bump in security with the August security patch.

    After the update, Mi Band 5 can now automatically detect the exercise mode. Xiaomi has added a new automatic motion detection feature, which will detect your current exercise mode. It is a good function for the users when they forget to start the workout mode while exercising. Many companies are now introducing Detect Activity feature on their smartwatches & smart bands like recently Huawei Watch GT 2 & Honor MagicWatch 2 have received it. It is good that Xioami has brought it to the Mi Band 5.

    As per the changelog, three main camera features Single take, My filters and Night hyperlapse is launching on a smartphone. In the first Single take mode, when you tap the shutter button, then it allows you to capture video & photos for 10 seconds. The Night hyperlapse brings the ability to shoot crisp & clear low light hyperlapse videos. The last My filter is useful to customize & create your favorite images with different styles & colors for future shots. Apart from that, the new version brought overall stability to the existing features and squashed the minor bugs.

    Samsung is now distributing One UI 2.1 version for Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The firmware version N960FXXU5ETF5 is now releasing with the June security patch. It is currently rolling out in Germany, and soon it will hit in South Korea and other regions. As per the previous schedule, the One UI 2.1 version supposed to release next week for both Galaxy S9 & Note 9, so it is a surprise treat from the company. As some customers had a chance to use the new version, it has found out not all the Galaxy S20 features come to Note 9.

    The inherited functions from the One UI 2.1 for the old flagship phone are Quick share & Music share. Both features allow you to share files & Bluetooth audio connection with other devices, respectively. The Pro Mode in video recording has made a come back to Note 9. It was previously the part of Galaxy S9 & Note 9; then later, the company removed it for some reason. This year, with Galaxy S20, the feature has returned and now came back to Galaxy Note 9. The Pro Mode & Bixby Routines for video recording will not be the part of the Galaxy S9 series.

    In the camera department, Single Take features have introduced to take a series of pictures and videos when you tap the shutter button. The new version also lets you control shutter speed. You can also create custom filers, along with AR Doodle & AR Emoji features. The 1.2 GB One UI 2.1 firmware is available in Germany, and soon it will release in other countries without any delay.

A few days ago, we published some of its key elements and images. This time, Samsung itself has teased an image that shows the actual design of the tracker and its color option. It is the first time we are getting the first look at the official image of Band 5 tracker. As per the picture, the fitness band adopts a larger display, that match with our leaked 1.2-inch colored display.

    The women’s menstrual cycle feature will be part of the fitness tracker. Women can get information about fertile periods, ovulation days, and predicted menstrual periods. The design hasn’t changed much, but less bezel increased the display size. Xiaomi also mentioned NFC support on the Chinese version. However, the NFC support will come to the global version with Mastercard support. It also offers voice assistants on both models, and the international version could get Amazon Alexa support.

    Earlier this month, We found the first sign of Samsung’s upcoming One UI 2.1 for Galaxy S & Note series. Now we have confirmed the news when it hits in the market for flagship smartphones. According to the Galaxy S moderator at Samsung Community, the company will deliver One UI 2.1 version early next month. As on the posted article, the moderator says, the update will release within three weeks that we can say it would happen in the first week of April.

    One UI 2.1 will release for Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series devices. The first device to get the upcoming update is the Galaxy S10 series, as it has clearly mentioned in the post. Later, Galaxy Note 10 series will get it, and then it comes to previous flagship smartphones. South Korea will be the first country to receive it and later the US and other major countries.     The new version also bumps google’s latest February 2020 security patch level. Once you update, your Galaxy A70 gets system-wide Dark Mode along with other goodies. As per the previous roadmap, Galaxy A70 supposed to get Android 10 in April so at least some users are lucky to get the version before its actual release month. It indicates the remaining Galaxy A series smartphones will get the update before the scheduled time.
