Galaxy Watch 3 Update Improves Blood Oxygen Feature
Samsung has dispatched a new software update for its latest Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch. The update improves the measurement of the blood oxygen saturation feature to enhance its quality and provides stability. The firmware version R840XXU1BTK1 is now rolling out in Samsung’s home country. In the recent update, Samsung has already provided stability to many health functions including SpO2, VO2 Max, Sleep Score & stress management. Now, the company is again stabilizing the SpO2 measurement to get fast & accurate results from Watch 3.
To the surprise, the changelog mentions it has added voice guidance support to the exercises. The voice guidance support has been unlocked for the many users on Galaxy Watch 3, and even Samsung has brought it to Galaxy Watch Active 2. For the information, the voice coach can give you health tips from time to time by using the Bluetooth headset. It even guides you about cumulative data and heart rate to the automatic section of running/biking exercise. It also works when you connect the headset with your phone.
The voice guidance support is best for runners or fitness-centric users. Finally, the firmware squashes minor bugs to provide more stability to the wearable. The update is now rolling in South Korea, and soon you will see it on your Galaxy Watch 3. Currently, it is available for the Bluetooth version. To install this 63MB update, go to the Galaxy Wearable app, and then check in the Watch Software Update option.

Galaxy S20 gets One UI 2.5 Version, Galaxy S9 & Note 9 Will Get Soon
Samsung has today released a new software update for Galaxy S20 series smartphones that bring One UI 2.5 version. The all three 5G Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra will get the new version. With the update, users can use some exclusive functions of Galaxy Note 20 on their flagship phone. The firmware version G98*BXXU4BTH5 is rolling out in most of the European countries. When we write this article, it is available in Germany, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands & Hungary. The other countries will get the firmware in the coming days.
At this moment, the LTE variants of the Galaxy S20 are not getting this version, but soon, they will join the force. As per the changelog, the update comes with Wireless DeX enhanced Pro Video Mode, the ability to change Single Take duration, and Android 10 navigation gesture in third-party launchers. Along with it, the users will see little improvements in the performance, and the bump in security with the August security patch.
Now, in the other exciting news, the Galaxy S9 & Galaxy Note 9 will also get One UI 2.5 version. Yes, it is not a rumor like we have seen with One UI 2.1 update. The news has come from Samsung itself and SamMoble has verified it. In the first half of this year, the users of Galaxy S9 & Note 9 were not even confident about getting One UI 2.1 update, and now Samsung has surprised them with One UI 2.5 firmware. It would be a major update for both these devices and would like to see which Note 20 functions come to these older flagship phones.

First Galaxy Watch 3 Update Unlocks Blood Oxygen & VO2 Max
Just After the launch of Galaxy Watch 3, Samsung has rolled out one of the major updates for the watch. These days, Samsung is really fast and acknowledged its devices. On the same launch day, Galaxy Note 20 & Note 20 Ultra has received the first software update, which had happened with Galaxy S20 & Galaxy Buds Plus. The first update for Galaxy Watch 3 brings Blood Oxygen, Sleep Score & Vo2 Max functions, thanks to the SamMobile for the news which have a review product. All these features were mentioned in the launch event, so it makes sense to open it for users.
The Blood Oxygen level or in other words SpO2 is necessary to check how your respiratory system transfer oxygen to the bloodstream. VO2 Max is another essential tool for fitness-centric users. It checks how much oxygen you utilize during the exercise to improve your endurance. If you have used Garmin smartwatches, then you may know the VO2 Max feature. And there is Sleep Score, to examine your sleep. Samsung claims it has partnered with the medical company to check your sleep pattern, and guide you on how to get quality sleep.
Finally, the company promises Galaxy Watch 3 will now provide you better results in the running and give you insights. Samsung still has to activate ECG & fall detection in other regions, except South Korea. For now, South Korea is the only country where users can use ECG & blood pressure features. For the Galaxy Watch 3 users, the new R840XXU1BTG6 firmware is available in the Galaxy Wearable app. The 80MB software will release in all the available markets in the coming weeks.

Mi Band 4 & Band 5 Updates Bring New Features
The new Mi Band 5 and previous year’s Mi Band 4 are now receiving new software updates. It is the first firmware update for Mi Smart Band 5 or the global version. The Chinese version already has received its first version, where it had enabled Camera Remote control function. It is not the case with the international version as the camera controller is enabled since the first day. The global model gets firmware version 1.0.1.32 that brings two major features to the fitness tracker.
After the update, Mi Band 5 can now automatically detect the exercise mode. Xiaomi has added a new automatic motion detection feature, which will detect your current exercise mode. It is a good function for the users when they forget to start the workout mode while exercising. Many companies are now introducing Detect Activity feature on their smartwatches & smart bands like recently Huawei Watch GT 2 & Honor MagicWatch 2 have received it. It is good that Xioami has brought it to the Mi Band 5.
Apart from that, there is a new option to press & hold the watch faces to set the dial. You can activate these features from Settings – More options. Finally, the new battery percentage indicator for the faces has launched on both Mi Band 4 & Band 5 trackers. The update is now available in all the major countries, where both these smart bands available. To install the latest firmware updates, you have to update the Mi Fit app to 4.4.0 version on the paired smartphone.

Galaxy Buds Live User Manual Confirms Many Functions
The leaked user manual of Galaxy Buds Live is confirming many features that we have seen in different leaks. Samsung has accidentally leaked or intentionally posted the user manual of Galaxy Buds Live on the official website. Last week, the company has leaked some of the screenshots on its companion Galaxy Wearable app for iOS, which has revealed almost all the functions. It is now confirmed that the next earbuds will receive ANC function, which will be the first Samsung earbuds to get it. Actually, AKG N400 is the first earbuds comes with ANC feature from the company under the AKG brand.
It is the user manual, so you will get all the guides that necessary to pair the buds with a smartphone, and how to use it. It also confirms the Touch Control and its Equilizer with various other controls. There is plenty to learn from the manual like Gaming Mode and Relieve Pressure with Ambient sound. Along with it, we gathered a bunch of knowledge about the Galaxy Buds Live. The tipster Roland Quandt claims 4.5 hours of battery on earbuds, a three-microphone per setup, and 12mm dynamic drivers.
The next Samsung earbuds would launch on August 5 in the same event, where Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones & Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch. The price for the Galaxy Buds Live has been tipped for $169, and it will soon confirm in the launch event. By introducing various feature Samsung will give a good competitor to Apple AirPods Pro.

Oppo Watch Launched in Germany with Google Pay Support
Oppo has officially unveiled its first smartwatch in Europe that powered with GPS & NFC functions. Germany is the first country to get Oppo Watch and soon it will land in other European countries. The wearable was first introduced in China with some advanced functions that we have seen on Apple Watch Series 5 & Galaxy Watch Active 2. It has a 1.6-inch screen and offers 1GB RAM & 8GB internal storage to save the music. It runs on Wear OS by Google & ColorOS platform, that opens plenty of apps to install and use on the watch.
In the app section, it pre-loaded with Google Pay, Google Assistant, Online Music, and many other apps. It comes with a microphone & loudspeaker so you can answer the calls on the go. The smart notifications allow you to read & reply to WhatsApp, Facebook, and other social media apps & text messages. Unlike the Huawei Watch GT 2, the Oppo Watch supports NFC outside China, so you can make a contactless payment. Galaxy A51 Update Gets Missing One UI 2.1 Camera Features
At the beginning of May, when Samsung seeded major Android 10-based One UI 2.1 update for Galaxy A51, the company left-out some camera functions from it. There were a couple of camera features that supposed to come to the smartphone, but Samsung decided not to release them. Those excluded features are Single Take, AR Zone, Live Caption mode, My Filters, Pro Mode & Night Hyperlapse. Now, with the latest firmware version, the Galaxy A51 smartphone is receiving those missing One UI 2.1 functions.
As per the changelog, three main camera features Single take, My filters and Night hyperlapse is launching on a smartphone. In the first Single take mode, when you tap the shutter button, then it allows you to capture video & photos for 10 seconds. The Night hyperlapse brings the ability to shoot crisp & clear low light hyperlapse videos. The last My filter is useful to customize & create your favorite images with different styles & colors for future shots. Apart from that, the new version brought overall stability to the existing features and squashed the minor bugs.
The new firmware A515FXXU3BTF4 is rolling out in Malaysia, so we haven’t got a chance to see the other changes on the Galaxy A51. After the update of your smartphone, you can share if there is a new function or other changes in this version. In this 336MB file, the update also bringing Google’s latest Android security patch for June. These newly added features will bring Galaxy A51 closer to Galaxy S9, Note 9 & Galaxy Fold as they have received almost all the One UI 2.1 functions. Note 9 One UI 2.1 Update Gets Pro Mode, Single Take & Many More
Samsung is now distributing One UI 2.1 version for Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The firmware version N960FXXU5ETF5 is now releasing with the June security patch. It is currently rolling out in Germany, and soon it will hit in South Korea and other regions. As per the previous schedule, the One UI 2.1 version supposed to release next week for both Galaxy S9 & Note 9, so it is a surprise treat from the company. As some customers had a chance to use the new version, it has found out not all the Galaxy S20 features come to Note 9.
The inherited functions from the One UI 2.1 for the old flagship phone are Quick share & Music share. Both features allow you to share files & Bluetooth audio connection with other devices, respectively. The Pro Mode in video recording has made a come back to Note 9. It was previously the part of Galaxy S9 & Note 9; then later, the company removed it for some reason. This year, with Galaxy S20, the feature has returned and now came back to Galaxy Note 9. The Pro Mode & Bixby Routines for video recording will not be the part of the Galaxy S9 series.
In the camera department, Single Take features have introduced to take a series of pictures and videos when you tap the shutter button. The new version also lets you control shutter speed. You can also create custom filers, along with AR Doodle & AR Emoji features. The 1.2 GB One UI 2.1 firmware is available in Germany, and soon it will release in other countries without any delay.

Xiaomi Mi Band 5 Design & Color Options Revealed
Mi Band 5 is not stopping any time soon until its official launch date on June 11. The fitness tracker is revealing with many leaks and on the official Weibo account. A few days ago, we published some of its key elements and images. This time, Samsung itself has teased an image that shows the actual design of the tracker and its color option. It is the first time we are getting the first look at the official image of Band 5 tracker. As per the picture, the fitness band adopts a larger display, that match with our leaked 1.2-inch colored display.
The women’s menstrual cycle feature will be part of the fitness tracker. Women can get information about fertile periods, ovulation days, and predicted menstrual periods. The design hasn’t changed much, but less bezel increased the display size. Xiaomi also mentioned NFC support on the Chinese version. However, the NFC support will come to the global version with Mastercard support. It also offers voice assistants on both models, and the international version could get Amazon Alexa support.
Further, the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 comes in Black, Green, Yellow, and Red color options. Apart from these features, it will get five more activities like Yoga & badminton, the camera controllers, SpO2 & world clock. Xiaomi will unveil Mi Band 5 on June 11 in China, and the first sale will start from June 18. The launch event will tell us a clear picture of these rumored functions. The estimated price for the fitness tracker is 177 Yuan in China.

Mi Band 4 Update Allows to Rate Watch Faces & Share Heart Rate Data
When there is a news about Mi band 4C in the industry, Xiaomi is making sure the older trackers won’t stay behind. In that luckily, Mi Band 4 is worshiped with continuously receiving the latest updates with few significant changes. This time the Mi band 4 is receiving V1.0.9.48 that comes with the Activity heart rate sharing feature. Along with this change, there is now a redesigned Band Display Settings section in the Mi Fit app after the new app version V1.1.0. The Activity heart rate tracking is not new to the Mi Band 4, since the Band 3 it is available for users. Though, after the launch of Band 4, the company removed it from the fitness tracker without giving any proper reason. Now, version V1.0.9.48 has brought it back. With the feature that appeared in Mi Fit app, you can share your heart rate data with other smart devices. When you enable the function, then with Bluetooth pairing, the band shares data with smartphones, smart devices, and also with apps like Apple Health. It is also helpful to share your heart rate report with your personal doctor.
Coming back to Band display settings, it has now categorized in a neat design. First, you will find your best watch faces in a particular category. Also, you can store watch face in the favorite section for later usage, and finally, you can rate the watch face from 1 to 5 value. The update is now live in India & Vietnam soon will enter in other regions. To get the latest version, you have to upgrade the Mi Fit app to the V1.1.0 version from the Play Store & iOS App Store. After the laptop unlocks update, it is another update in April that brings some changes to the app & tracker.

The earbuds case also reserves the same 12 hours of battery life. As per the specs, it let you play 6 hours of music without ANC & 5 hours of music playback with ANC activated. It supports Bixby, Google Assistant & Siri to give you quick information. To do that, just touch your finger for 2 seconds on the right earbud to activate the function.
For protection when it gets wet, it comes with IPX7 waterproof ratings in 1 meter for 30 minutes. The AKG N400 true wireless earbuds are now available to purchase in South Korea. Now the US Users Receiving Galaxy S20 Camera Update
Since the last few updates, Samsung is trying to improve the autofocus issue on the Galaxy S20 devices. The fun part is, there are only three significant updates & one security patch released since the launch date, and in each version, the company promised to fix it. Finally, in the recent firmware, it has solved the problem. Last week Samsung dispatched firmware version G98*USQU1ATCH that taken care of the camera department. After it released in South Korea and then in other countries, it is now rolling out in the USA.
The two major telecom operators, Sprint & Verizon, as well as unlocked users, are now upgrading to the latest software. The 426MB update comes with March 1st security patch that seeds on Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+ & Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones. The Galaxy S20 Ultra was the main device that underperformed since the beginning. It launched with a 108MP camera with top-notch functions, so expectations from users were very high.
The autofocus & the manual focus was the main defected function, and after the update, users say they are getting better results. The changelog hasn’t mentioned any changes, but the firmware ends with ATCH rolled out to fix camera issues. Samsung Would Release One UI 2.1 Early Next Month
Earlier this month, We found the first sign of Samsung’s upcoming One UI 2.1 for Galaxy S & Note series. Now we have confirmed the news when it hits in the market for flagship smartphones. According to the Galaxy S moderator at Samsung Community, the company will deliver One UI 2.1 version early next month. As on the posted article, the moderator says, the update will release within three weeks that we can say it would happen in the first week of April.
One UI 2.1 will release for Galaxy S9/S9+, Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S10 & Galaxy Note 10 series devices. The first device to get the upcoming update is the Galaxy S10 series, as it has clearly mentioned in the post. Later, Galaxy Note 10 series will get it, and then it comes to previous flagship smartphones. South Korea will be the first country to receive it and later the US and other major countries. The One UI 2.1 includes screen zoom, apply dark mode to wallpapers, music share, AR zone, night hyper lapse mode, single take and Samsung Quick Share options with some other implements.
At current, only Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra & Galaxy Z Flip devices are running on One UI 2.1 version with Android 10. It is not the only news that we received today. In the second half of this year, these devices will get One UI 2.5 version. The first feature on the 2.5 release is Google Gesture, and the more functions may reveal in the coming weeks.

Galaxy A70s Now Getting Android 10, Galaxy A70 Update Resumed
Samsung is now rolling out OneUI 2.0 based Android 10 updates on the Galaxy A70s smartphone. The company has also resumed the Android 10 update for the Galaxy A70 smartphone in Ukraine. For an unknown reason, Samsung had paused the firmware in the country. On February 20, very few lucky customers were lucky to get the new software, but then the company suddenly stopped the rollout. Now the firmware update with the same build number is live again for the Ukrainian users.
The Galaxy A70s is receiving Android 10 with OneUI 2.0 flavor in India with A707FDDU2BTC2 build number. As the South Korean company introduced, these higher mid-range devices get system-wide dark mode with darkening wallpapers. The screen recorder feature is already available on Galaxy A70s, but we hope the company would have seeded it on Galaxy A70. As the firmware has just dispatched, we have to wait to see what other features both deviceshave received.

First Galaxy Buds+ Update Solves White Noise Issue
Samsung has pushed out the first firmware update for the newly launched Galaxy Buds+ earbuds. The firmware version R175XXUOATB5 is now releasing in South Korea & Germany that weighs 1.21MB. The new software version will encounter the common issues having on Buds+, precisely the white noise issue. It also fixed the delay in pairing and solved disconnecting problems. Many customers have reported the white noise problem in the background, and in South Korea, customers also have returned or replaced it.
After the many complaints arise, Samsung finally came ahead and promised to fix the issue in the software update. In the posted note, Samsung has claimed to adjust the white noise issue & give stability to the Galaxy Buds+ earbuds. Finally, today Samsung rolled out the new version to solve all the problems. The noise issue so prominent in the home country that almost all users are facing it. The company again said it is the issue that will be solved by a software update and no need to replace the product, but still, if you are uncomfortable, then they can take a new one from Samsung store. It is good that Samsung is initiating significant updates for its premium devices before they are in the market.

Galaxy A70 Users Now Receiving Android 10 Update
Samsung is now rolling out its latest Android 10 update with the company’s One UI 2.0 interface for Galaxy A70. In the last few moves, Samsung has surprised everyone by seeding the newest update on many of its flagship & mid-range smartphones before the scheduled roadmap. This month, Android 10 has installed on Galaxy A30 & Galaxy A50s smartphones, and now Galaxy A70 is getting updated. The firmware version A705FNXXU5BTB9 is currently available in Ukraine that weighs 2060MB in size.
The new version also bumps google’s latest February 2020 security patch level. Once you update, your Galaxy A70 gets system-wide Dark Mode along with other goodies. As per the previous roadmap, Galaxy A70 supposed to get Android 10 in April so at least some users are lucky to get the version before its actual release month. It indicates the remaining Galaxy A series smartphones will get the update before the scheduled time.
