Android Pie Update for Galaxy J7 Nxt & J7 Pro Rolling Out - TizenHelp

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro & J7 Nxt users are now getting Android Pie update on their smartphones. Last week, J7 Pro users in Russia had received the new version, this time it is rolling out worldwide. As per our information it is currently serving in Mexico, Spain & Algeria. And the Pie update for J7 Nxt is presently available to download in Thailand. Galaxy j7 Pro comes with firmware version J730FXXU4CSF1 that counts 1027 MB size and brings May 2019 Android security patch. The other Galaxy J7 Nxt firmware is J701FXXU6CSF1 with May security patch. It would be better if Samsung has pushed the new June Android security update for the devices.

The software has lots of goodies to change these old models into a new one by installing some latest features. The most significant change here is Samsung’s One UI interface which replaces old Experience UI. You will notice some Pie version has just started to roll out in some countries so that it will come to other countries in a few hours or days. You can check whether you have got Android Pie version for your device by opening Settings – Software Update and then Download & Install option.

Last month, Samsung covered all its latest mid-range smartphones with a new security patch along with the Pie version. The Galaxy M series and Galaxy J7 2018 series have received updates in last month. On the other hand, Galaxy J7 Pro & J7 Nxt are the only 2017’s models that have undergone Pie version among its other J7 series models. And it is the first smartphone in June to get the Pie version as per the Samsung schedule. We can hope soon other J7 series smartphones will get this software in the coming weeks.
