The unlocked Galaxy S10 models in the US are now getting August security patch on all carriers, except T-Mobile. The T-Mobile users in the US are now receiving a Night Mode update for their unlocked Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ & Galaxy S10e. The telecom operator is the last one that brings these features to Galaxy S10, S10+ & S10e smartphones. In June, AT&T was the first operator to release night mode update for US smartphones and later seeded to Galaxy Note 9 & Galaxy S9 & S9+. The latest firmware G97*U1UEU2ASGB has released for Galaxy S10 series. The firmware ends with ASGB is for night mode update & all the three Galaxy S10 models are now receiving it.
The update carry July security patch, even when most of the other smartphones have received August security patch. The most crucial change in the changelog is dedicated night mode & QR scanner features have been added to the devices. In the last few months, it is one of the essential software updates for the customers. It is the reason every customer wants night mode function on their smartphones so they can increase the capabilities of the camera in night shooting.
To check for the latest update, go to Settings and then open a Software update to install it manually. The August security update is now rolling out for unlocked Samsung Galaxy s10 series devices in the US. If you are on another carrier then you may have received notification for the latest version. The T-Mobile users may get the August patch in the next phase.
